Scraped Email & Spamming

Hi Fellow Warriors,
I see a lot of WSO's that refer to (or even actively encourage) using email scraping software programs to collect email addresses form the web. My question is this, how does one "scrape" emails & then market to these email recipients without getting flagged by your own ISP or email marketing software provider as a spammer? Is there an effective "work-around?

    3. What is your approach when emailing these people?


    In general this isn't a great method. But for B2B there is some good sites to scrape manually.

    Sending emails can be tricky. You have to have good strategy. I personally don't bulk email these lists. I set up a trickle so that a handful of emails are send daily.

    Subject line is key. If you're offering something of value to the business and are really providing something of value, you can get a better response rate.

    There are a lot of variables. When done properly it can be effective. I have had success with it at least.

    Just a Advice mate. Dont do this. Wont help. Email Scrapping and mailing them is = to Spamming! Definitively not a long term business model. Only good for people looking to make quick cash (Blackh**) Your ISP will definitively get blacklisted . Mailchimp/aweber or any other accounts will get blocked. Better to Avoid!

    DO NOT go for Spammy methods or unnatural link building, mass commenting, etc, etc, etc.

    However anything that is certainly certainly made naturally and made by hand can be very healthy for your Website future!

    When I first started, I spent HOURS scraping emails using a YP scraper and then I would just send out tons and tons of emails. I actually got quite a few responses each night and nearly 98% of them were positive, BUT... I only closed a couple clients out of the dozens that wrote me back.

    I found it far more effective to send personal message via a web form on their site, and I got very specific in what I wanted to do for them - sending them a video going over their competition and how I could do better for them.

    You can still do minimal customization and email prospects in groups. For instance, use my software (in my signature) to grab everyone who needs photos uploaded to their plus local page. Email them all specifically about that.

    Then grab the folks (again, using my software) who have unverified plus local pages. Email them all about that, as a group.

    It is the best of both worlds, because they get a personalized message, but you don't have to email them one by one

    I have a very, very specific way of doing things after making a TON of mistakes that cost me a boatload in time and money. My method is far to valuable for me, to ever consider giving away the information or even selling it.

    Also... this forum doesn't condone spamming, or telling you HOW to do it. I've seen Paul shut down almost every thread asking the question, I'm surprised this is still up.

    You can rent addresses and emails so cheap from list brokers I don't know why you would spend you time trying to do this.

    If you rent or buy a list you can target your message to your market and get a WAY better response rate than just spamming business.

      Scraping a list with the fields you're looking for, is much better than a brokered list. Any email software, server and ISP will tell you that purchased lists are not allowed for solicitation. Why do you think every email platform out there bans your account for using purchased lists.
