Where To Start In Selling Websites?

Now I know I can cold call, where would I even begin learning about what it takes to cold call for web design business?

Anyone have any suggestions as to where to start learning about the basics of web design, what type of businesses to call on, and where to find reputable outsourcing?

Sorry if this has been discussed, but any help would be appreciated.

I want to explicitly sell websites and outsource the design.

What I would like to know if there's some guide... or posts, or FAQ that could help me get a basic understanding of the technicals and help me design a business plan.

      Hey man,
I have been selling low coast quality websites for the last few years. Best way is to get your foot in the door by cold calling, e-mail blast, facebook messages, networking meetings, or walking into the door. I have used "you don't have a mobile website let me bring in a mock up." which has worked GREAT to get in the door for businesses that have poor/outdated websites. Go in prepared with a few templates that might work for them and sell sell sell.
There is really no guide for selling website in my opinion. It all depends on your market, cost of sites, and what type of selling style you are comfortable with.

If you are looking for ultra affordable websites that are simple for you to sell and will get finished quick check out my link below.

You can try with different freelancing site like oDesk, Freelancer, eLance etc. You will find a lot of jobs are posted there. Chose those work, you can do effectively and start biding. For first few days, you may not get client, but very soon you will. Best of luck!
