Just got 2 callbacks in 2 days from cold calling! PLANT THE SEED!

So I just got off the phone with another very hot prospect, which makes 2 in as many days.

Both of these guys were semi-interested after I cold called them a couple months back, and both have called me out of the blue saying 'yeah I need a website' or 'yeah lets move on this'.

So just a friendly reminder that although it might FEEL like these guys 'got away', sometimes they just need a healthy dose of reality (IE Yellow pages not working, friends telling them to get a website) to make the decision.

The moral of the story? Put every ounce of effort you can into every single 'mmm...maybe....' because IT PLANTS THE SEED!

Treat them well, quote them, be nice and ask questions. It leaves the seed planted...'should I do it?' 'it seems to be going that way, the internet and everything...' etc etc

Bottom line? Hit the phones!

    Long term stats are always better than daily stats to get the full picture. What's also better than that is monthly or weekly stats compared to each other.

    I would love also to hear from your results. In fact, I would love to hear every offline warriors success stories. I am stuck on reading mainly online stuff (SEO, backlinks, new online wso etc) and some offline reports.

    The thing is this post like success of offline stories motivates me to start reading more offline stuff and start my business. However, there is so much "hope" in the online wso I read that I tend to try everything online, but this will be a slooow business. Offline is faster results and often result in much more money (made me think of JD thread talking about warrior that are excited for 1$.

    I think I just need to drop all that online learning stuff, read more offline and spend more time here.

    I don't know if you already felt like this before but I am probably not the only one in this boat. Share your success stories for some motivation!

    Call consistently. Don't worry about what happens on this particular day. You're in it for the long run. I've had people contact me months after we last talked--and I didn't get upset, I didn't chase them; I wrote them off as not a fit--and say, "Will you still honor this? I'm ready now."

    Getting traction is the hardest thing to do in a new business. Once you get it, the sales will happen quickly...but you have to stick with it and behave consistently to get there.
