How many of you involve sponsors in your work and what kind of work do you do with them?

Do you create beneficial events and get sponsors to flip the bill?

Do you put together high end networking events where CEO and board members from multiple organizations can meet?

Or do you simple help a local sports team get their uniforms paid for?

More of us use sponsors than gets talked about on this board, and it can be soooo profitable! Let's talk about what we're doing!

How are you involving sponsors? The more we all know, the more we can all make

No personally to any of the questions above , but when I had a job the company did some stuff like that.

However I'd like to know more, you seem like you know a lot about it. Get the ball going....

Croque, what kind of sponsoring did your company do?

There are lots of levels of sponsorship you can make money through.

One of the more basic ones would be finding something that needs to be done in your city (getting a new playground at a park for example) - talk to the local mayor and offer to get the whole thing funded by local businesses.

The mayor will more than likely be thrilled that the playground is getting built and doesn't have to come out of the budget and when you get businesses to sponsor the project (in exchange for their name on a plaque or something like that) you make sure to add an extra 12-15% "administration fee" for setting the whole thing up.

There's definitely work involved, but the paydays can make it worth it.
