stupid but important question about youtube

Hi folks

I have recently been taking action on getting offline clients by using video seo.

One tactic that I have only just started to test is creating youtube accounts that just have a link to my main video.

i.e. If the video I created is targeting 3 keywords then create 3 additional accounts that have a link to my original video and each account is named after a keyword that I am targeting in the original video.

I only started doing this yesterday and low and behold today youtube changed their layout a bit so now I don't know where to put the link to the original video and I can't seem to change the youtube account names that a freelancer created for me to a keyword optimized youtube account name (I can however create a channel name but the user name will not change like before).

Any ideas would be appreciated.

    Why are you spreading the video thin? Upload the video once and optimize it the right way.

    Blackhat is good to some extent. But when it comes to ranking youtube videos...that's pretty straight forward.

      I agree. Just submit the video to other video sharing sites. In the description put a link to yojur YT video. Submit the RSS feed and throw some backlinks at it. Takes 5 mins.

        thanks for the replies guys.

        I use a variety of backlinking and keyword optimisation techniques for ranking my youtube videos on google so that's not the issue for me at the mo.

        I just wanted know how to put a backlink in a youtube account that is empty to another youtube account that has my youtube video that I created.

        I also need to know how to change a youtube user name say from "random word" to "bluewidgets manchester." As youtube recently tweaked their options I can't seem to change the user name?
