Craigslist, Web Design and Offline clients?

How effective is craigslist with marketing to offline clients? I tried emailing people from there with screen shots of designs I got from here and no one is biting. I was taught how to scrape the post for individual email accounts, but this method doesn't seem to work that well. I used an outsourcer to email the people also to increase the amount I could send out daily.

The problem with that was I use Google Apps for Business for emails and they will out of the blue stop letting you're emails go through if you send too many. And trust me the guy hasn't gotten anywhere near the 500 a day thresh hold. Any other way to get the leads out of there?

Craigslist is hit or miss, good sometimes and bad other times. Response rate also depend on the service you are offering and the city you post your ad in. If you have a decent ad you will get response, but you will also get a lot of 'tire kickers', so be prepared. You can get some large accounts, but mostly you will get people who have no problem wasting your time. You will have to decide for yourself if it is worth your effort.

Its good, but not always. I recommend you find some kid on craigslist who wants a job and tell him you'll pay him $5 a day if he posts ads on craigslist for you or make him work for comission. To be honest, your ad becomes invisible in a matter of hours when other ads begin to pile on top. Its alot of work posting these ads (trying to avoid duplicate content) so it's best you outsource it, like I said.
