Working on an Offline Marketing/Website Design resource website for 'newbies', Need your thoughts!

So I thought I'd just throw this out there and see what you guys thought.

I have decided to create an information based website/blog that deals with starting a web design/seo/google places business (basically exactly what I'm doing), but I want it to be focused on 'newbies'.

Since I still consider myself a newbie, having only about 6 months experience at this, I thought it would be appropriate.

I plan on having alot of free resources, with some paid products there to 'support' things, but not the focus of the site.

Here are some ideas I had, let me know what you guys think :

- Videos of myself cold calling
- Video blogs on etiquette with clients
- Ideas on managing and using outsourcing
- Tips and tricks for getting misc things done (logos, photoshop tutorials etc)
- Software reviews/Offline WSO reviews etc

If you are an offliner and you have anything you'd like to see, please use this thread! Thanks guys

Have a section called "I feel your pain". It would consist of all the crying posts you have made in WF about why cant I get deals and whats going wrong.

Readers can really see your struggles and the progress you have made over time and they will relate to you better.

Seriously you may get a nice following and develop a way to earn a secondary source of income.

Chris Farrell has a site that does what you propose. See what you can glean from it (ChrisFarrellMembership.com).

I don't know if Chris posts here, but that website strikes me as a big scam. Just spammed full of text, 'start today' links, testimonial spamming...

I like a simple, straightforward look, like 'the challenge' by Ed dale.

        Oh well.

I like 'the challenge' too but I think you can learn from Chris... even if it's what not to do. But, I was thinking in terms of organization and sequencing (I have not seen the site in 2 years... basing it on what I saw 2 years ago).

I think posting some reputable outsourcers would be great. This is a topic even veteran offliners would find valuable.
