Looking for feedback on website mockup

Fellow Warriors,

Please critique the attached website mockup for a client of mine.

In particular, I want to know:

1) What do you think this company does?
2) What do you think the primary purpose of this website is?
3) What do you like about this design?
4) How can the design be improved?
5) Does it compel you to call Creative Specialties?

    This site looks great! Just looking at a quick glance I would say this is a company that print designs on all sort of objects... I do think the design would look better in a lighter color instead of black because black is like dull ya know... Other than that it's a great, clean website that looks very professional

    I think the site looks good!

    Is this a free or paid template? or did you make it from scratch? I have a client of mine and this template would be PERFECT for the job. Would you mind sharing where you got it, either via PM or reply?

    In regards to #5, I like how the phone number is a staple on the website. Easy to find, emphasizes it nicely rather than simply hiding it on the contact us page. It's a well-known idea, but not used often enough IMO!

      Actually, this is a custom design. I hired a designer to create this mockup for this ad specialty company.

    Wow, it's great you're asking usability questions. This is like above and beyond questioning to do it right. It should be standard, doing usability questioning, but rarely is. At least in the circle I know

      I totally agree - it should be standard practice. Usability testing is a powerful way to find out how customers interact with your website.
