Selling Books In Bulk To Companies

Hi guys, i learnt this idea of selling books to large corporations from steve harrison's sell books by the truckload.

I do have however one qns, do i have to travel in person to the company headquarters to meet and sign the deal with them? or is it possible for the deal to be signed over the phone?

I dont stay in the USA so assuming this method of selling books to corporations does work, and i need to travel in person to seal the deal, the travel expenses are going to cost a bomb.

Any thoughts from people who have done this?

Thanks!

I am not familiar with Steve Harrison's approach but I have made some bulk sales of my booklet just through phone and e-mail contact. I sold 500 to an insurance company through e-mail contact. I also sold 500 to a financial planner that I met in my yoga class. If you are doing this internationally there may be a question of trust in terms of what they could do if the shipment isn't sent. I believe some people will do 1/2 upfront and the rest at time of delivery so that may be a way to deal with the trust factor.

It all depends on how you market your company and product. If you are reaching out to clients through phome and email I think in-person transactions aren't expected. Half upfront and half at delivery is a great option to ensure the safety of your buyers.

I saw this post and it reminded me.... I have been trying to print a booklet(s) in MS 2003. I have all but given up (almost). It seems no matter what I do it messes up the order of the pages when printing them out.

I have even tried templates and downloaded some trial programs that are suppose to print booklets specifically. My printer isn't the greatest (brother MFC685CW) and I have to print double sided manually (not a big deal).

Anyone have any tips on how I can get these things to print out right without resorting to manually laying them out?

well i guess you could outsource it to the philippines for editing and typesetting. its quite cheap really. and go with the major printers for printing, they might know how it works...

Someone did it for me years ago and the pages are not numbered in order because of how they need to be folded into booklet size. I don't think though it would be a printer issue as it seems you can do the double sided part manually. I had someone local print them.
