offline clients come to you

Anybody have any ideas or advice on how to get offline clients to come to me as opposed to me going to them?

Any software that could help with this?

Does craigslist really work with getting customers or is there any other sites?

Also anybody have any WSOs that helped with offline marketing and getting customers without cold calling?

    I would say always have a classified ad up. Here in Canada, we have Kijiji. It makes advertising pretty simple, and last I checked they weren't as strict as CL. But always have an ad up in as many places as possible, because you never know when someone is going to call.

    If you're consistent with this, take good care of clients and look for referrals, you'll have a large enough network that you may not have to search that hard for business anymore.

    There's a number of things that we would need to know first and Aaran's question is a good place to start, what's your budget?

    Another thing is you say you're not comfortable with cold calling does that also include face to face meetings or are you okay with that after you have contacted your warm lead?

    There are a lot of ways you can generate leads to come to you.

    Craigslist
    Emails
    Position a video in the local area/niche
    Direct mail

    You have to work for it. Clients don't just fall in your lap. Be consistent and professional, position yourself as an authority.
