Would you take up on a $2500 Dan Kennedy program?

Hi,

I am trying to evolve from a marketing point a view and I am considering (well...somewhat) some 90 days total transformation program from Dan Kennedy. They offer training and mentoring (which really interests me more). They state this program has the potential to double your profits in 90 days. The problem is the price: 2500$.

I am interested in this for an existing (very) small business.

What's your opinion on this?

Thanks!

In your position, I would spend about $200 to get his No B.S. series of books. Digest them all. Then use the newly found knowledge to make enough money to afford the $2500 course.

Kennedy really knows his stuff. If you are going to be one on one with Kennedy, I would do it. But I doubt that this is the case.

You can get virtually the same thing out of his books. And any of his programs 5 years old or older...you can buy for a song on Ebay.

I go to most Kennedy events (as long as he is the main one speaking), and all of them sell packages in the $2,500 range. I actually mentioned Ebay once and got a few dirty looks. But that's what I do. I buy on Ebay, or Amazon.

But read his Ultimate Sales letter book and a few others, and you'll get 99% of what's in the coaching. The main point of coaching is to get you to act. But the content is the same as in the books.

You can double your business in 90 days just by applying what you read in his books.

If you tell us a little about your business, and what you are doing now...maybe I can steer you to a good resource at a much lower price. (No, not anything I sell)

Dan is a great marketer but these days very removed from GKIC. There
have been a lot of complaints about some of the newer programs and products
      coming out of that camp.

I would put that $2500 to better use.

What type of business do you have?

Frank Kern somewhere gives a lot of credit to Dan Kennedy as far as his own development is concerned, so that is some brilliant endorsement. In fact as I remember it Frank made out that he gave his last funds when he didn't have a lot of money to a high end product of Dan Kennedy's. But Dan Kennedy has a lot of low priced books and so on you can get a lot from before you put that degree of strain on your wallet.

If you are talking about the event he just held, then I know exactly what you are talking about.
I say go for it if you have the funds. By funds, I mean cash in hand that you can afford to invest in your business.
If you don't, then get his No BS series and Magnetic Marketing program.
IF you apply what you learn, then you can always come back around to GKIC programs down the road when you have the cash.

Thank you all for your answers. As a matter of fact I was kind of expecting this sort of answers. They sound reasonable.

And it's true the emphasis is on the mentoring program that's meant to make you take action, not just learn.

@ Claude: you're probably right. I don't think Dan Kennedy will be involved personally.

@ Claude, Paul: we do local market web hosting (eastern Europe). Any relevant material for this? Thanks!

Again, thanks to all of you! Just registered but I am glad I found this community.
