Try and get as many months up front as you can. Give them a deal. For example if they pay 6 months in advance they receive 10% off or something similar.

Oh ok but how about should I do it? like taking credit card or cheque, which way would be the easiest/better option for them.

I think it would work best to offer both, then ask each specific person which works best for them.

Some people will say check, and you'll make them happy.

Other people will say credit card, and you'll make them happy.

No one can tell you what is best in general. Just offer both and ask each person.

your going to need to search for merchant accounts that offer offline services and then call them and ask them if you are able to set up automatic payments

Some credit card companies offer what your looking for. Call your merchant services account and ask them. I also believe that Quickbooks has a module.

We use Harvest but with PayPal.

great information thanks , do you only use pay pal for clients or do you use this option as well since some shy away from pay pal.
