How Would You Sell Email Marketing/Autoresponder to Real Estate Agents?

They seem to be a good target with good money to spend on advertising and buying services from you.

It obviously won't work with emailing those who purchased a house from them 3 times a month since people don't buy homes every month, so what will be your strategy that would be a WIN-WIN for them and you?

They having more customers in taking your email marketing service, and you can charge them high end $750-1k setup and $295/month, something like that?

I think that you could probably offer real estate agents an all in one solution rather than just one service alone by itself.

I agree. Real estate agents have some popular programs out there already like:

      MyRedTools.com (no affil).
Real estate lead generation tools with Market Leader Professional | Market Leader (no affil).

...that come packaged with customize-able autoresponder messages and more.

Now come up with a non-hosted package, i.e. one with website templates, leads industry (not IM hype) capture pages, contact management system, calendar that syncs with Google Calendar, etc., one package that an agent can upload onto their own hosting account with their own domain, and you may have a good fit

Think Kayako (not hosted) / autoresponders on steroids. ..something like that. And have it clicking into a good, dependable, quality direct mail supplier with great rates, too, and B.I.N.G.O.

I agree with Kebertt..... focus on what they really want. Find a way to get the leads and they will pay you for them. If you decide to go with email, it's still good for a Realtor to touch base with their past customer database just for top of mind reasons. Even a monthly touch or twice a month touch is a good thing.

    well I see two strategies

    1) You can use email marketing as a way to capture potential leads before they are sold a house.
You can offer up tips on how to choose a really good house, or help them figure out their needs.

    2) You can use email marketing after someone has bought a house
Using this strategy you can setup Joint Ventures with moving companies, furniture stores, home cleaning services, landscaping services, promoting all these different things to those home owners.

Don't be stuck on selling them just 1 service. I think marketing to anyone in real estate is an excellent idea as I've made quite a bit of money doing it but I think it's even more important for you to provide value to them.

Most of the people that are going to be spending money, make money already. They are trying to grow their business, you need to help them do that & I'll tell you why.

These people are some of the most networked out there. They know each other, they hang out with each other, go to meetings and just talk with each other constantly. If you provide something good for them you're going to gain recognition & a lot of business from simply providing value to them.

If you want to charge that kind of money for basically helping them with e-mail marketing then I would suggest doing something like creating an entire lead capture system for them. A lot of people in real estate pay a lot of money for leads & if you can help them create their own leads & it works for them they're going to be pretty darn happy happy with you.

If you do a good job you're not even going to have to sell your service because it's going to sell itself.
