Business Plan

I'm looking to write up a business plan in offering offline web services such as web design and SEO before I decide to dive in.

While I do frequent this section and have read quite a few threads I haven't taken any notes thus far and was wondering if anyone could point me to some great informative threads that discuss the main steps as there's none pinned surprisingly.

      It really depends on the goal of your business plan. Is it for a bank? Is it for VC's? Is it just for you? The direction you take with an actual plan depends on the purpose.

    Hi Leeds Man,
    I will be launching a course on how to write a business plan from start to finish with every section's details as well as refining the plan for certain purposes, such as seeking an investor or applying for a business grant.
    Anyway, unfortunately this is not helpful to you right now.

    I have helped many clients with writing their business plan and the best thing to do is to start with an outline of the aspects to be covered.
    The general major sections are:
    1. General Business Profile
    2. Marketing Strategy
    3. Business Management
    4. Finances

    Thanks guys as I've come to realize this is quite a helpful section on the site with lots to offer, I just wanted to see what's out there and being offered that would help me as well as taking my own action.

    I really only need to find out the basics first to be able to take action and then learn any advanced strategies later.

    I think the main thing I would struggle with is where to outsource web design and what type of SEO to use as there's lots of different warriors with plenty services.
