How can i promote my business on internet?

Hey friends...
People say that they can promote you business on internet. I am lots of confuse about this how can they do it? I also promote my business and get huge business. But still i think that their is something is missing in my procedure.
That's why i want to know how people make 10000 of facebook likes in if days and so many thing for the people are assuring for their user.

      If you have a website with WordPress on it you can install plugins and widgets that enable you to add Facebook likes (plus Google, Twitter, and many more).

      A really popular social networking plugin is "Shareaholic" (you can Google it or just go to Shareaholic.com).

      As far as what you said for "artificially generating likes" - there are services you can use that will do that, and there are plugins that do it (you just have to spend some time sifting through Google and you'll find them).

      BUT -- there's always a risk of making Google see your "grey hat/black hat" efforts (artificially getting Fake facebook likes) as spam and un-natural.

      Google likes natural.

      If by chance you meant legitimately gaining tons of Facebook likes in a few days by having a valuable site filled with valuable content on it than you will be all set once you set up a Facebook like plugin (such as Shareaholic).

      In that case you won't need a plugin to "get likes", you'll just get them when people appreciate the value you provide to them and like your content because they actually really do like it.

      Simple as can be.

        Probably the best answer here. Just to add don't over think the process here. Keep it simple and just find what works best for you.

        I promote my facebook page through video's, articles and SEO. So I'm using a combination of all the methods I find to be the most effective for MY BUSINESS. I suggest you do the same.

    SEO is stable and long term way, but Internet Marketing is not all about SEO, Social Media has a huge share in Internet Marketing. Social Media can support your SEO as well.
    But as you are starting it go for email marketing first promote your business through email marketing to the targeted customer, Geo Targeted Customers related to your niche and get good results.

    If you thinking of Facebook likes,
    You might try to invest some money in Facebook Ads which might cost you maybe 0.05 - 0.30 per click . I been done this is it work quite well. Use FB ads to promote your fan page to your target .

    Beside that you can try to give something away with contest and you can get huge numbers of like to your page in the short time.

    Those methods might be troublesome but i believe those user even better than you purchase it directly.
