Anyone Doing The 9x12 System

I was just wondering has anyone had success setting appointments to sell slots on a postcard?

I have had success cold calling lately for other things... and I know that in person selling for this seems to be the best method..

But I have a hard time getting around sometimes... so I don't really want to be walking around all day from business to business shooting in the dark...

    Aren't you on the private forum or premier site? I could have sworn you were. There's lots of strategies on successful cold calling/email/broadcasting/facebook stuff

    I don't think I am on the forum Jake...I thought I had gotten the basic WSO and upgraded but I messed up.

    I was a primier member, but I've been having an issue with my debit card... so I don't know if the payment went through I'm trying to fix it but I don't have my computer right now because I had some battery issues... so I'm trying to access everything from my phone and...let's just say I miss my computer... LOL

    I know that there were a few interviews talking about cold calling though... I just can't remember the process entirely for that.

    Yes it definitely works but like anything else it works differently for different people.

    When I was doing it I was sure to have a solid technique laid out. My technique was finding prospects from previous valpak mailers and walking into their business (then eventually I moved over to email).

    Since these were people who already purchased mail marketing, they were the first ones I approached. This was around the time I was just begining to learn what good ads look like too (although I was such a newbie then).

    What I did was walk in with their ad, usually with a written critique in my hands. I explained the benefits of 9x12s as opposed to valpak, and just tried to be as helpful as possible. If they acted like they weren't interested, or the owner wasn't in, I'd ask them if they could give my report to him. This also explained the benefits of 9x12 postcards as opposed to valpak.

    You can also do this by email which also works. Just more of a numbers game.

    The short story is it definitely works its more about how you work it imo.
