Expanding my business, how do I track Sales Reps?

So I am back again with another newbie style question.

I am expanding my business and plan to begin employing Sales Reps ASAP.

What I can't figure out is how do I track the leads they generate?

My site is a direct response site, therefore sales will generally come from a phone call.

I understand I can use tracking codes and assign an Individual URL to each rep so I can see what traffic they are sending to the site, however how do I track if that referal picks up the phone and calls.

I'm not expecting a huge amount of sales to result from the website as I want my Sales Reps to manage their own accounts and close the customers themselves however there will be odd instances where sales will come from the site.

Any advice would be great. I know John Durham had a great thread and WSO on this a while back and I'm gutted I missed out on it.

    When they call, you ask them who they were dealing with.
    Or have your reps log who they speak to so that you can reference the caller to a rep.
