Outsoure seo services on fiverr?!?!?!

I have a friend that said he offers local seo services in his area and is outsourcing all of his work on fiverr. Unfortuntely he would not tell me the exact gigs he was working with but he said he charges $120-$250 a month per account and only spends around $50 on fiverr per account.

Anyone else have any luck with this?

What gigs would he be putting together do you think? Link wheels, rss feeds, social signals, high pr backlinks?

Yes, there are people out there who provides SEO services, but outsourced the works to the workers at Fiverr, you can go straight to Fiverr to get a cheaper price.

What do you mean you can go to fiverr for a cheaper price? Fiverr are individuals that sell in their marketplace. All fiverr does is offer the platform.

I understand that you can do it. I am mainly wondering what gigs people are purchasing to resell as a monthly subscription?

Have tried Fiverr many times for FB like and tweets. But FB like apparently foes down with the time. They unlike your page once reports are given to you. I have been deceived saying We would provide you unique article web 2.0's but when i cross checked, links were found broken and that too with spun content.

For those complaining about what they got on fiverr what did you expect?

You get what you pay for. Even in other nations with lower costs of living you won't get much for $5.

The OP's friend is clearly offering cheap SEO and is buying cheap gigs to provide it. That will work but IMO does not build value long term.

Some gigs are good, most are crap.

Yes i have found that most of the seo gigs are crap on fiverr. I agree with the comment of "what do you expect?" you are only paying $5. I don't think i would buy seo gigs on fiverr myself.

I just found it interesting that he said his sites rank high on the SERP. But my guess is the are all low competition like "New York Vacuum club". He wouldnt tell me much on the details and how he is doing it. Some friend right?

Actually he is a great friend. Maybe he realizes that if he told you who his person was, that you would then be tempted to hire that person also to do work for you, and then you would no longer be his friend but his competition which in the end would probably ruin your friendship.

So I think he is being a great friend by not handing you that temptation and thus saving your friendship

Forget about selling SEO ... most businesses have been ripped off in the past ... their sites don't rank because of the big, bad Penguin, and they get pissed off. SEO is Dead !

LOL! SEO is not dead! Google is trying to be aggressive on their search algo, so as a SEO workers we need to think fresh strategies to counter attack the changes.

Don't worry, I remember what happened to this guy, it's actually a good indicator as to why to stay away from Fiverr gigs for SEO...

zoro: All mine and my clients sites that were on page one for more than 18 months have now been relegated to page 100 or beyond. My clients are screaming!!! and we are all losing dollars. SEO sucks!

Wilder1047: Wow, I feel for ya!!

Maybe it'd be helpful to the forum if you could post some of the SEO methods you were using so we can learn from them...

zoro: Sure. Just basic on-page SEO, then matching domain name + city, press release, video, forum posts, Fiverr High PR Links, article directories, and original content.

iAmNameLess: Fiverr high PR links are not high pr links. They are no pr links on high pr domains on pages with high OBL and spam. If I had to guess it is because of the fiverr links and possibly article directories.

All seen in the following thread iAmNameLess started during the latest major algo updates -> http://www.warriorforum.com/offline-...e-clients.html

There are people which outsource gigs on fiverr. You just have to find the great gigs in the pile of dirt (bad ones).

It's interesting; people purchase gigs on Fiverr (most of the time the crap ones) and when they receive the reports or see their rankings drop, they automatically assume all Fiverr gigs are low quality because of the whole 'you get what you pay for' mentality. Typical slippery slope scenario in which the 'quality' Fiverr sellers business suffers.

There ARE quality providers on Fiverr, and honestly, they are really not that hard to find. The issue mostly relies on how people utilize these services in conjunction with their overall linking strategies; in which most of the time is the real issue.

Before you hop into doing what your friend is doing (being the middle SEO man), you have to make sure the gigs you use for your own business is good enough. Most SEO on Fiverr is complete crap and won't do much for you.

You should NEVER jeopardize the rep of your own company for a quick buck by not researching..esp when using Fiverr vendors.

Let our company handle SEO for your business. For $5 in fiverr they'll perform automatic link building but after some period of time those link will be deleted.

I use Fiverr for just certain local seo product creation but not SEO tasks.
I do not use it to provide the quality seo and content that will give you results.
Just some quick things like videos, and sometimes articles.

I agree with you. That is why i am asking fellow warriors if they have had any luck. I don't think i would purchase seo gigs on fiverr or be a middleman with fiverr. This thread was made through pure curiosity.

LOL SEO will never be dead... it is dead to me (for now anyway)...

I just buy my traffic adwords/maps/adcenter (bing ads whatever they changed it to)/FB sometimes...

Does it lower your margins per client? Most of the time. But it takes less then an hour to setup each client then maybe 5-10 each every three days to optimize.

It takes me WAY less time per client, it's instantly scalable, or you can turn off the tap just as quick, and most importantly to my clients I can track results down to the penny so it's easier to ask for more money when you find the winners.

OH and you dont have to worry about Google save for having your adwords account closed, and I've never heard of that for local campaigns, but it could happen.

Interesting what you have said. Depending on the competition of the keywords this could be inexpensive or expensive? Im guessing you are primarily talking about local seo clients. How is fb ads compared to adwords for you?

I use Fiverr alot as well as link building software. The same ones we all use.

But I only use Fiverr and these other methods to link to websites that are not my clients. I always have at least one "buffer" website between the links that Fiverr offers in spades, and my client's website.

There are other threads that hash out which Fivver gigs are recommended.

Buffers are always a great idea and a must. That way it gives tons of authority to that site and if the links are crap it doesnt really matter since it wasn't you "money site".
