Chambers have to be a gold mine. (not their members)

I have dedicated my past months researching for my target industry and the services I want to sell. I determined that this was my perfect client, criteria:
- Has enough $$$ to spend
- Needs to project a professional image
- It is fundamental for my client to keep in touch with their customers
- Low-mantainance
- Easy-to-scale
- A large number of them

My perfect client are Chambers.. you name it, commerce, medical specialties, etc... Not even the members, the chambers.

I now have a list of around 500-600 chambers in my country.

I noticed several things in my list:
1 - They are national/regional, they are usually the only organization targeting their type of members (which means they have thousands of affiliates).
2 - 98% of them have websites and know they need them.
3 - 90% of those have horrible, 90s web-sites.
4 - They HAVE TO justify their existance in order to keep making $$ from their members.
5 - They need to contact their members constantly.
6 - Since their websites and logos look really unprofessonial, this probably means that their traditional letters, and corporate image sucks.

They definetely need:

1 - To keep in contact with their paying members
2 - Provide or atleast appear to provide value to their members
3 - Project a professional image.....

Here is where we come, provide value so they can provide more vlaue and make money, Selling:
- Website redesign. Website management, hosting and domain residual income.
- SMS and Email marketing services. Set Up + residual income.
- Email Newsletter Design and delivery service. Residual income.
- Design of traditional mail letters.
- Outsourcement of telemarketing.
- Semi managed Social media services. Residual income.
- CRM under our own brand and also allow them to resell it under their own brand to their members.
- ETC,

The possibilities are endless. Hopefully the chambers in your countries also fit this criteria.

Here comes the empire

What do you mean by Chambers targeting Medical Specialities? Got a link to such a thing or do you just mean Trade Body?

Or is this something you have in The US. ie Chambers of xyz?

To me Chambers just means CoC or the grouping Barristers operate out of ,but I am in England.

I live in latin America. Colleges, Chambers, Associations, they all serve similar purposes and fit into this model.

This is an American Example, for the college of Rheumatology. They have a good website tough American College of Rheumatology

When you look more into this opportunity, as we have been using Uk based trade bodies etc , many expect you to 'stump up' £3- £10k to then be able to be 'recommended' by them to their membership.

It can work, but do your numbers carefully, worse case scenario first before committing.

Most are nothing more than money making machines giving little value to their members, many of whom dont take a whole lot of notice of them but 'have' to be members due to some dumb ass law
