Question about LinkedIn

Hi there,

Does anyone know if there's any type of software to show stats of LinkedIn groups, such as how many owners, managers etc in a group? Instead of having to search manually?

Just wondering. Thanks in advance!

I created a software that does all kinds of stuff on Linkedin... but I actually sold it to someone else a few months ago. It's called LinkedinBot... you can still find the WSO or on their site... LinkedinBot.com | Linkedin Bot - Linkedin Automation

I don't know anything about the software anymore since I'm not involved with it anymore but, the new owners seem like they know what they are doing if you want to check it out.

I've seen this product before, but I never really had any use for it.

I still don't understand why use LinkedIn? Can anyone explain this to me.

You can go to the group and click on "more" then "statistics" and this will show you all the statistics about the group that you're looking for. Hope that helps.

I'm not sure if there is software like that available but let me put a spin on this.

    Why does it matter?

My official title doesn't contain the word manager and I am not one of the owners. Yet for those offering internet services I would be the one to speak to.

On the opposite note how many people on linked in are owners and managers of vapor companies? How many work real jobs for their income and own a business that isn't profitable on the side?

Which group would you rather be a part of?

    Group 1:
70 Owners (65 are vapor companies)
30 Managers (25 are middle managers with no authority)

    Group 2:
20 Owners (15 Are vapor companies)
10 Managers (5 are middle managers with no authority)
70 Non-owners/managers (15 are in the internet marketing department of their company)

Group 1 has 10 decision makers.
Group 2 has 10 decision makers plus 15 people who may be the decision maker or at least have his ear in the services you will be offering.

So Group 2 would be way better Especially since the 15 are more likely to have time to be active and may in fact be told to be linkedin active during work time. Yet many would choose group one based on the number of owners and managers.

Anyone can be an owner. Legally in most places it literally takes filing a DBA which is under $100. And if you work under your real name (vs a company name) you don't even need that.

Companies have loads of managers. Most of these managers will have nothing to do with marketing.
