Anyone have a compelling sales pitch?

Hi all I have a couple of leads whom I am doing a website and SERP report for. I am hoping so turn them into SEO clients. Now I need an idea on how I can offer my services after I send them the review. Does anyone have some sort of compelling sales pitch that I can send with my report?

Any help will be appreciated, Thanks.

Work with this. It has helped many people.

Showing prospects bells and whistles won't accomplish much. It might just educated them so that they don't need you any more. Then they go find what you offer for the lowest price.

Use the method above, and that won't happen.

Not sure what the geographic location difference is in your case, but I always make sure to deliver my reports and proposals and then go through them with the prospective client.

This further reinforces that you are an expert and allows you to tackle any perceived problems immediately. You can satisfy most of his objections right there and then.

You don't need a fancy sales pitch or closing statement. Just listen, he will tell you what to say to close him.

What I did was put together a quick 10 page PDF "report" on the local market for whatever niche (restaurants, etc.) based on that phone call. I then pitch them on the value (not as detailed as the link to your post Jason but similar).

Whenever someone said "no" or "can't talk right now" I would ask them if I could e-mail my report to read later. They would give me their e-mail address and then I'd add them to my Get Response list.

I would then call back 3-5 days later asking if they read the report and present the same pitch again. This stuff works! in the meantime, I send e-mails based on local marketing, stuff like how Groupon rips off the little guy, things like that. Typical things we do in the IM world.

By the way, I have 3 sales reps now doing this for me.

The key to closing sales is the follow up.

    Good luck!

Ok but How do I go from giving him the report i made for him.. To asking if he would like to outsource the work to me basically without sounding cheesy and chasing him away (Once read that the minute a client hears a cheesy sales pitch they run for the hills, which is why i want something different)?

      What's cheesy about it?

"What have you been doing to this point?"

"What do you think of the results?"

If they don't like the results, "What would you like to see instead?"

"And how do you think I can help?"

"If we were to get more customers for you by whatever means I can come up with, how many, conservatively, do you think that would be per month?"

"And how much is each customer worth to you/what is the average amount they spend with you?"

"How much is that over a year?"

"And what do you think the investment would be to get to this point?"

"How would you like to move ahead?"

      Nothing cheesy here.
