eStore for 1 item - What to use?

Hi,

I have a prospect who imports a device for iphone from china and wants to sell it online in france. That s the only item he has at the moment.

Target is 18-25 yo.

We're planning on building a site to sell it, as well as a FB page, then do PPC on google, yahoo and FB.

He asked me yesterday if we'd use prestashop.

Do you have any suggestion on the best platform for this? It s not a complete shop as there s only 1 item.

Thanks for your help!

Sounds like all you need is a landing page for a single item.

I agree, with one product it sounds like a landing page would be fine. As for the cart option, you could use a WP plugin for that or even make a simply PayPal "buy it now" button for this.

If your really wanting a "shopping cart" type software, I have always had good experience with ZenCart or NopCommerce as well.

Best of luck to you and your adventure.

        Thanks for your help!

ZenCart seems good and I heard about it before.

What would you guys charge for a site like this? It s the first time i m asked for such a thing and I don t want to price too low or too high.

        Thanks

Your welcome and for the pricing of something like this... That's the hard part (not really but I know where your coming from).

Depending on what all your client needs/wants on the site (determine how many pages he/she/they need) and go from there.

I would say no less than $99 but you know what your worth and more over, you should know what THEY will pay

          Good luck!

Well yes, but how would you structure it?
Any WP theme good for that?

    Thanks.

    Thanks,

He'll pay more than that for sure.

Pages will be the landing page with the product, terms and conditions, testimonials, contact us.

The thing is I ll put together for the price the site, the fan page, PPC campaign creation and management(which will be outsourced).

My main concern here is what theme to use. I m only used to WP.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

I found Appos theme to be pretty nice for what I need. Though it seems it s a single page theme.
That makes me think i ll have problem with adwords.

Can someone please let me know if this is the case?

    Thanks.
