Looking for some advice re: a business

Hey warriors

I have this morning come across an opportunity which looks okay but was looking for some opinions on whether it would work.
The company Vouchers | Coupons | Offers | Money Off Vouchers
This was the advert:

Voochoo.com is a free to use, no opt-in, application accessible on most smart devices that promotes the very best in money saving products and services locally, regionally and nationally.

It's broader in content than most other voucher sites, does not rely on group purchases or profit share and allows businesses to competitively geo-target from under £1/wk.

We are now looking for a number of self-employed, highly motivated professionals across the country to run their own agency business within defined postcode areas. Voochoo can be run full or part time and could very easily sit along side an existing business or stand alone, but you must have proven sales/media experience and can demonstrate you have the commitment, enthusiasm and ability to introduce Voochoo to local SMEs and secure their business.

Running any business, however, requires some capital investment and it's no different here, but
the cost to set up and promote Voochoo is only£499.00 incl.VAT per postcode and that covers everything. The initial training, production of 50,000 drop cards and 2,000 postcards to create brand awareness; 500 business cards, 250 window/vehicle stickers and 125 service agreements. In addition and to take advantage of local key word searches, LMS sites like Vouchers | Coupons | Offers | Money off Vouchers | Discounts , all powered by Vouchers | Coupons | Offers | Money Off Vouchers will be created to cover all postal towns in your area.

We will also provide on-going mentoring, pr and as much help as you need to get your agency
up and running quickly and effectively; strategies to quickly build good free content for local businesses and tactics to increase their exposure in the region.

Whether it's just one postcode sale a week to earn £15,000+ year 1/ £23,000+ year 2 or one a day to earn £78,000 / £117,000 over the same period, your Voochoo business has the potential to turnover an excellent residual income.

Remember, you get paid AGAIN and AGAIN on annual renewal! *

(see the attached spreadsheet and enter your own target sales to calculate the income you want)

This is a unique opportunity to get involved in something new and very exciting - a real service capitalising on today's multi-million pound voucher industry.....a turn key business you can start operating in a couple of weeks for under £500!

If interested and if you haven't already done so, please email your cv or details of your business/sales/media experience to voochoo@ymail.com with the word "Agent" in subject line and if we feel, after discussing this, you have the dynamic qualities we're looking for, you will be asked to complete an on-line agency agreement and once set up, invited to meet one of the team to get things underway.

Reserve your Voochoo postcode today before someone else does!
*Subject to Agency terms and conditions

I'm not affiliated with this business but I would welcome some experienced marketers input as to whether you think this is a decent business model?

Cheers

Dave

I skimmed this and not really sure what to tell you besides this.

They have a website, right? So why is the contact email voochoo@ymail.com? That doesn't sound professional to me. Hell this might even be a scammer using their business name.

Otherwise it sounds like many "business oportunities". You will sell for them and make money for them and make money for yourself. You are not an employee but your own business so you could make nothing per hour if you suck or you could make a good hourly wage. And you have to judge the merits of such businesses on a case by case.

A girl I used to work with makes good part time money with Thrity-one. My g/f's mom sells Knifes for some company whose name I do not know. And I know others who have done things like Avon and failed completely.

These kind of businesses make money off you rather you sell well or not with the starter kits they sell to you. They offer a low entry into business for many but in that same way they in some ways limit how high you can realisitically grow your business. But the right product line with the right person can be a great way to get someone started on their first business. But if they are good they will outgrow the model and need to either start another businesses or get a real sales job.

I forget the name, but those knives company are a huge scam. They are selling their products to the people that they want as salesmen. For instance they will go after low income places and lie to them, telling people that they will make thousands by walking door to door and selling these knives. Its pretty insane.

Some people do well though, if you're a good salesman.

Ads should not have the sense like "see this" or visit this.
    Always make them interesting...
