Hi fellow Warriors - wondering if anyone is selling FB services (fan pages, timelines, etc) to offline clients. If so, are you having any success?

What tools are you using (is there a decent automated tool that works)?

What are you charging for this service? Recurring charges?

Thanks!

I provide Social Interaction, spending about 15 minutes, 3 times a week for adding + contacts, giving "happy birhday" and posting significant Ad (banner)

Despites de Use of Photoshop (witch takes me about 5 minutes to create) I do that in a "Social Media Package" or, if separatly I charge 40€/ month.

My mean Job is in front of the PC everyday so, for me it´s natural to do this so.

I´ve got 4 clients so far.

I also do this as a Complement, as I do SEO, Youtube Marketing, Webdesign,etc...

In my experience, I'd say no. At least not as a first service. If you know local SEO or a way to turn a non-converting website into a higher converting website, do that. Something you can show measurable results for their bottom line. Facebook can be a hit or a miss and there always seems to be a lot of testing to get it right.

I'm sure there are some pro's out there that could make sound dumb for saying this, but in my experience it's the case. Why charge 200-500 a month for something you need to check and update often, when you could get an SEO, Local+ or email marketing client for 500-1000 a month, and barely have to do any constant work.

    Thoughts?

There are some specific types of businesses I want to run fan pages for, and have been archiving social content for the past few months. I'm going to give away 3 months of page management in exchange for a testimonial in 2 of those markets to establish credibility, and while I'm doing that, I plan to sell to additional businesses.

The trick with Facebook is figuring out a successful strategy before you target the business, so find a business in another market that has a successful strategy, then copy it for a similar business in your market. :-)

I have not had great luck selling fan pages as the primary product.

However, it does make for a good upsell or bonus when targeting other services.
