How Much Would You Charge For First Page Youtube Video Rankings Only?

Hi Warriors,

I Have a few potential clients of mine that DONT want website seo or mobile website etc etc.... But they are willing to pay me a monthly fee to rank a youtube video on the top of the first page of google with their main or choosen keywords.

I never sold a seperate packages of this before.

So I was wondering how much would you charge per month for (lets say 1 video for now) Youtube Video Rankings alone? I Know this would probably differ per niche/competition etc.

Potential Clients of mine that are real interested is an Painter, Optometrist, Physiotherapist, Roofer, And Chiropractor.

Ranking the videos is pretty easy but I dont want to price it to high where I'll scare off the client and not too low where its not worth it of course?

Anybody here sell youtube rankings alone as a service?

Also its awesome that i think im the only one doing it in my area.

Like for Example if i were to do seo for their website i would charge $500 - $1000/month per client to make it worth my time. But since i think im the only one in my area that can rank youtube videos to the top of google and i do have some up already for example purposes to show my potential clients. I believe I can price it quite a bit since my "CLients Videos" will be the only one on top of google?

Any suggesstions?

Thanks

I have a service where I provide 10-12 videos that I create and generally 3 or 4 will be on page 1 of a Google search result. The package contains more, but videos are a strong part of it.

I'm not sure how you can guarantee a consistant #1 position for popular keywords in a popular niche..but I'll assume you know what you are doing.
If you are talking about a #1 spot in Youtube, it's more possible, but worth less.

Here I describe more what I offer and at what price. Maybe that will help.

One video? That you didn't create? Maybe a couple hundred a month for a Top 3 position in Google. Youtube? Not as valuable.

Are these companies tracking results from your videos? Are these videos just ads? Or do they bring in Opt=ins? Are the videos selling something?

I would absolutely advise you create mutiple videos so that at least a few will rank highly. I sell 10-12 videos that I create for $3,999 up front and then $199 a month. The link above will tell you more about what I sell (No. I'm not selling to anyone here). I sold several packages at $699 a month forever. But later changed it to $699 a month for 9 months and then $199 after. People tend to pay me when they see an end of the tunnel.

    Good luck.

      Hey Claude,

First of all thanks for your quick reply.

And Yes what I Meant was First Page Listing for videos on Google. and your right i cant always guarantee #1 rankings but so far all videos I have work on with "city + industry" have either ranked above or just below google local listings.

The Videos that i have ranked are just video of me promoting what i can do saying. "City + Industry want to advertise here... etc" I then email or call my previous clients or potential clients if they would like something like this. Which they are really interested in cause I usually tell them that since no other competitor is using Youtube videos to rank for their main keyword that I can replace the video i have and work on a video for them at a monthly cost.

The videos i was thinking of creating is ones that you can create using animoto. Using phrases about there business with slide shows of pictures of there industry and a call to action with the phone number etc. But nothing like an opt-in or video tracking is placed. What do you think?

And thanks for the tips on creat 10-12 videos I will definately keep that in mind. and maybe try charging for more.

      Thanks

I like the idea of getting videos ranked as a way to attract cliebrs. What would you do with the videos after you got a client? I'm assuming you would replace them with the client video. I would suggest not deleting them, but using them to link to the new videos. Internal links from Youtube video to Youtube video are very powerful.

The reason for the multiple videos is that the cost per video is minimal, and it sounds like such a great deal. You can also use at least one video for every specific search phrase.
And Google will let you have 2 video listings per page pretty easily, so I'd try for at least two videos per specific search phrase.

If you are selling to local (within driving distance) businesses, I would suggest live videos. Maybe a tour of the business, a welcome from the owner. These are easy to sell and you won't get complaints about quality. Making them a minor celebrity is part of the pitch.

Creating 10 videos really takes little time. Maybe $200 a month for the ten videos, monitoring, optimization, etc. "That's only $20 a month per video" sounds pretty reasonable to me.

I'd say charge them based on how competitive the niche is? If you really want to know the figures you can perhaps call the local SEO companies and litterally play yourself as a customer and that you'd like to have your videos ranked in the google and ask them how much. After hearing from the companies give your client a 25% discount of the local rate, so that you get to say them what the prevailing local rate is and since they are your personal client you'd like to give them a discount, which will give them a another reason to sign up with you.

      Hey 55sadhikar,

I have done this by calling other local competitors but like I posted in my first post it looks like I Would be the only one doing this video ranking thing in my area. Which I think is a gold mine so far. My competitors are doing things I dont do. Like Mobile websites, reputation management, social media etc... But I Have partnered with a few too which helps us all out as well.

      Thanks

Sorry, No. I'm not selling here or looking for re-sellers. The work is very labor intensive and I only sell at retail. But I'm flattered you asked. Thanks.

You can equate it to the amount your charge for website SEO since they both require similar back link method.

Not for Amimoto videos. But I would for live videos, or animated videos (I use goanimate.com), because they can see real production costs. $1,000 is only $100 a video. Easily sold. But the videos should be on different subjects that are search phrases for that business.

Like tarfandkhaneh suggested. Dailymotion and Metacafe are excellant optional video sites. They show up in Google searches, and it's not time consuming to upload to them as well.

When I sell may package I explain what I do. Meaning the client is aware of each step I take. I would mewntion that you create accounts for them, optimize usernames, titles, maps, descriptions, links...whatever you do.

I also use Vagex.com to throw views to the videos (along with subscriptions, likes, and favorites). I don't buy comments, because they look spammy. I explain that this will cause the videos to show up sooner and higher. I don't mention the actual way I create views, but I tell them that the views are not local customer views, they are to increase position.

      Good luck.

    Just a quick update!!

I was able to charge a few of my clients $250 per month and that was just for 1 video for the Main keyword on the page 1 of google. What was awesome too... was some videos i had already ranked for a potential client was listed right after the Google local page listings and my client still took it
