Creativity Drill: How Would You Use a VA To Increase Revenue?

Scenario: You just hired a Virtual Assistant in the Philippines for 30 days. He/she can do intermediate tasks such as research, data entry, e-mailing, and blog submissions etc.

What are some projects you would assign to the VA to help generate revenue for your offline business?

Get them to scrape the shit out of Google and try every site in an iphone emulator, get you thousands of email addresses of sites that don't have a mobile optimised site.

Upload 1000 each day to an email program that rhymes with shmailshmimp and blast 1000 each day offering a mobile site.

30,000 emails sent out, at a modest 0.5% conversion rate is 150 mobile sites sold, even at a very modest $200 = well you do the math.

    Not bad for a month.

FYI BEFORE I GET ANY MORE PMS ASKING FOR FURTHER INFO ON THIS, I HAVEN'T DONE IT AND I DON'T HAVE REAL STATS OR THE EMAIL I USE TO SHOW YOU, IT WAS AN IDEA OF HOW TO USE A VA OFF THE TOP OF MY HEAD WHEN I READ THE ORIGINAL POST, MMMKAY PUMPKINS?

Oooo very nice. shmailshmimp is a wonderful kosher alternative to the leading e-mail service from what I've heard.

So I'm assuming that "Shmailshimp" allows you to upload a shitload of emails and blast out an offer? I have been wanting to try this but don't know the ins and outs of "shmailshimp" Please enlighten me!

Shmailshmimp do not allow such things, however that doesn't mean you can't do them.

You're not referring to Aweber are you? I keep hearing it referred to as "the leading" mail service on this forum when it's got 115k users and MailChimp has 2 million.

And yes, I just said MailChimp. MailChimp MailChimp MailChimp. Please see this thead in a mention alert and keep the spammers away from your service.

I would request that they blog comment half the time for me, and write the other half.

Subscribe to your local Business Journal ($50/year for the PDF edition) and each Friday when it comes out, email it to your VA and have them look up the owner contact information for all of the new business & sales tax license listings. Then have them import it all into Word as address labels, ready for you to print out for direct mail.

    Done.

Thanks a good one Frank. It seems like the consensus is have them scrape a particular type of business info (new business,non-mobile site, etc)...then use that list to send out an offer.
