The -Rent-A-Site- Model

The Rent A Site model has been a quite powerful business model to work on.

I have been hoping to jump onto it ever since I heard about it but got a few questions to those who are totally making a KILLING with it

Will I be able to charge about $97 - $297 for a site ranking for a keyword like 24 hour plumbing Oklahoma? I know that it doesn't show many searches in Google but is Google Keyword Tool right about offline keywords?

What if I am able to secure a top 3 - 5 rankings for that keyword? Or will I have to go for something like plumbing Oklahoma? or other variations?

I had been going through a WSO on this and I had this FREAKIN doubt before I get a VPS Server with all the high end software's and start playing .

Hey Sean, why don't you call some plumbers in Oklahoma and ask them if they'd be willing to pay "$97 - $297" if they could have a "top 3 - 5 rankings" website in Google. That's what I would do.

Depending on the response, you'll know how easy or hard it would be if you went ahead and built the site.

I don't know about vps servers and high end software, simply get a domain, hosting and add content and build backlinks to it. That's the fastest way I know how to test something out.

I haven't looked at the competition for this keyword, but I'd suggest looking at the strength and age of the competition you'll be competing with.

Ranking a brand new site with lots of competition is hard work to say the least. It would probably take several months before you were able to get any traction.

Good luck and hope that helps?

Smart reply des. I am using BHVps for SEO and Backlinks which has almost every tool I will need to start playing and to start playing rought.

The part i am stuck is on the keyword searches.

If you've got a PPC account, simply do a test campaign and send the traffic to whichever company you like (preferably a plumber in Oklahoma). Go with the keywords Adwords suggests and run this campaign for around 24 hours.

Not a popular option because it costs, but I guarantee you'll find the vast majority of keywords clients are typing in to find "Plumbers in Oklahoma".

There are many fancy keyword tools on the market, but when searches have such small numbers it's hard to get accurate (if any) results. This is what I do and haven't really found another way of doing it and getting crystal clear accurate results.

I'll hold my hands up and say I've never heard of "BHVps". But, If you're building new sites, go for the content and web 2.0 model for backlinking.
