Hi everyone! I have a quick question. I'm looking to doing Facebook adverstising with my offline business. However, I'm not entirely sure about how to do this sucessfully. Right now my budget is pretty small (meaning less than 1,000$) but I'm not looking to spend anymore than that. Anyone who has had a sucessful facebook ad campaign can you give me some feedback on how I can make this work? Are their any products that I can get to teach me how to get more out of this? Any tips and trick and advice will be welcome. Thank You!

I've gotten better at face book ads. My last one had a click through rate over 2%. First make sure you have a facebook page. 2nd your ad has to be something that is likable. That is something possibly in the news or your industry that is really cool that will make people want to click it, comment on it, and share it (probably best to put part of the article on your own site linking back to the original with a good sized image relating to the article).

Post the link to the article (or upload the image with a link to the article) on your facebook page. Run your ad as a "A specific post on *your facebook page name*". Good images do seem to get more clicks.

Narrow down your ad to the people that will matter the most, if you have an offline business make sure you have you ad directed to just that area, and in the age range you think would be the most likely to click, narrow it down to anything else you can think of.

I'm sure others will have more knowledge.

You want to have good copy. You only have so many spaces, so make sure its good.
Have an image. If you were looking to the left... would that image catch your attention and cause you to look right?
Make your ad link back to something on your page. Add a sales page.
It has been proven people are more receptive to sttaying on FB, than leaving.
Make sure you know your target market. You can drill down sooo much its ridiculous.
I could make an ad and target it to you. Out of the hundreds of millions of people on FB, I can make the ad show to you! It might go to a few others... but predominately you since FB wpnt let you drill down any less than 20 people. Well, it still shows 20 buut it is usually less.

My tip would be not to sell anything in your Facebook ad ... rather use it for driving traffic to your Facebook page, where you can tell people more about what you offer.

Set up your cover photo with your branding message and your profile photo with your logo. Offer free advice, reports and just be helpful to people.

You can run a contest - I had a very successful campaign for KidsUniverse on Facebook, where I ran a photo contest and had people vote on it. This not only brought new fans, but also their friends who had to vote on the photos.

More recently I started running a Facebook campaign, which simply showed a picture of Oreo cookie and said "Click LIKE if you agree that cleaning the house while the kids are awake is like brushing your teeth while eating an Oreo". This has brought several hundred new fans for a very low price.

I do not need to check any thread for this. I analyzed it myself and concluded that its certainly more than 50% fake clicks. But as I said the money was not a complete waste since I have got some likes.

In terms of generating a sale, it's been found that AdWords outperforms Facebook ads, because with AdWords there is "intent" to buy when customers are searching for that particular product or service. On Facebook, there is no "intent" to buy your product, per se, prospects are merely shown an ad that relates to them, but which may not spark their interest at that point in time. This is not to say that running ads on Facebook is a waste, but you should take a look at what the cost to convert in your particular niche will be on both platforms, and take all these factors into consideration when choosing between the two.

I am still a newbie to advertise on facebook, but I am a member of a ton of groups related to my niche and use an automated system to interact with all these groups at once so I can get more traffic and impressions on my posts. So my two cents would be is facebook group interaction.

To begin with, when creating a facebook ad, first thing you do is to enter your site or landing page URL.
Having done this, Facebook fetches your site TITLE as the HEADER or TITLE for your AD, and the first body text from your website or landing page as the MESSAGE TEXT.

This is where you can edit the message text. Simply replace what Facebook got by default, with what your message text is, then go on to select other paramenters such as the country, age bracket where your ad should run, PPC settings, name of ad, duration, etc, before proceeding to the REVIEW AD page.

    Hope this helps.

First of all create facebook id. Then go to face book ad page, there it will direct you to how to promote your business. May be it is slightly costly. Try it.

Facebook has an incredible reach. Across the globe there are more than 1 billion active users and a majority of these people log in several times per day and spend a lot of time on the network. For someone planning to advertise on Facebook the situation couldn’t be better.

The great thing with Facebook Ads is that you can start with any budget. However, if you're new to Facebook advertising or paid ads in general, it's always smart to start off small, analyze, and then optimize. See how your ad(s) perform on a small budget, analyze the results you got, and then optimize. Once you have well performing ads, then you can increase your budget comfortably because you know you will get a return on your investment.

There are plenty of resources available online to help with this. You can check out Fit Small Business and their guide to Facebook Advertising: http://fitsmallbusiness.com/facebook-advertising/

There's also Neil Patel's guide on this: http://neilpatel.com/what-is-facebook-advertising/

These should help you, or anyone else with the same question, get started.

I'd say you go for it. I don't think facebook require you to spend that much as you can start in any budget you want. But I'd have to agree with everyone that you take a course in Facebook Ads first before trying it.
