I have a store front (gas station) in the gas station i have a small office where some people look at video demos, i get to pitch them. But i can't seem to close the deal...i'm getting really really close but no cigar...what should i be doing to get customers to switch their cell phone service?

What does your upline support have to say about this problem?

Are you trying to sign up people who don't have a phone or trying to get them to cancel their service and switch.

How are you getting them to watch a video in your office? If they are stopping in for gas, do they really want to spend that much time watching a video?

Any signage promoting Solavei to peak their interest?

Simply ask them why they wouldn't do the deal. Find out what the common objection is. Your asking them to leave their comfort zone of their current carrier.

Is the process to switch too complicated? Do they think it is?

I have fliers all around the pumps, i lowered gas prices to those who signed up like a "member price" and i literally pull them from their pump to the office haha!

the video is only about 2 min long we spend about 5 min talking

But your right i need to find out how to get them comfortable with this service...i am trying to get them to switch.

I do have access to banners but i feel if i put "free cell phone service here" would not build trust. What should my banner say?

Vlad they either see it or they don't.

We are in the business of sorting...not convincing.

The product is great and serves a major purpose.

My challenge with Solavei is the phone cost. Everyone wants a galaxy s3 or Iphone 5 and they cost "only" $199.00 with ATT/Verizon 2 year contract.

People have to pay 549-649 for an S3 or iphone5 without a contract. The best I've seen is buying through Amazon or Best Buy with their 0% for 12 months. Show the cust $199 down with $50 a month and they own the phone in 6-8 months. Versus 199 down at att or verizon and they charge $100 a month instead of $49 a month. Show people why the phone is cheaper with the 2 year lock down.

Also, I'm not 100% on board if the Solavei network would be equal in quality to ATT or Verizon. Phone call quality and data speeds etc.

I've looked at this Solavei and haven't pulled the trigger yet based on the above. I imagine others need those questions answered as well.

Mark you raise some good points!

That is how they get you on the two-year contract. They offer you a big discount on the phone itself.

In many cases most people (like myself) are bringing their own phones.

Others like my buddy and his brother who are signing up they bought Samsung's online at a great price.

I'm not sure I'm understanding this:

"Also, I'm not 100% on board if the Solavei network would be equal in quality to ATT or Verizon. Phone call quality and data speeds etc."

You are NOT on board if it was the same quality? Are you saying it should be better? Or did you mean to say you are not on board if it is not the same quality?

I will share my experience as I've now had all 3.

Verizon is simply the best when it comes to towers...frequency...reception...etc. I hated paying $200 a month phone bills though for my iPhone and data plan. (At this time my data was unlimited but they have since changed that as well).

AT&T and T-Mobile (MVNO SOLAVEI) are exactly the same from what I've noticed. (With ATT my data plan was limited to 4gigs then I was charged more when I went over usage).

T-Mobile will continue to get better though. They just bought MetroPCS which will enhance many user experiences.

I brought my ATT phone over to the Solavei network. I'm on 2G service for the most part because it's an ATT phone but Solavei is working on making this better as well for users.

I'm very confident that this will help T-Mobile climb the ladder to compete more with Verizon and ATT who are the dominant carriers. Sprint is not too far behind then T-Mobile.

I would think it would be very difficult to pitch a phone to a prospect who isn't actually looking to buy a phone. Especially while they're at a gas station. Not to mention the trust factor.

If it were me, I'd start selling the phone to family, friends, and colleagues, and I'd get as many testimonials as possible. Then I'd create a killer brochure to hand out to gas station prospects explaining all the benefits.

This lets people qualify themselves in a safe environment, and you won't be wasting as much time trying to convince someone who has no interest in a phone.

      Great post Glen!

Most people's success (including mine) has been friends, family and colleagues.

Brochure...is a GREAT idea. I'm making one up as we speak.

Vlad is actually in a great position to be successful.

      Good pointers man.

    Hi Vlad,

I'm a Solavei Social Member as well.

Think about it this way...you are building a long term residual income. As you are contacting people you are planting seeds. Many will say NO today and come back at a later time (as long as they know you are still part of Solavei) and say YES. A lot has to do with timing.

I personally broke my AT&T contract and am saving money every month and I am close to my second trio and still within my FAB time period. It is definitely working for me.

By the sound of your post this is your first Network Marketing company that you are a part of? Just like any business it takes time to grow. In this case, you really want to commit to a year before even thinking it won't work for you.

As you know...there continues to be great changes.

I will give an example about "timing". I was getting some fliers made up by a buddy of mine I hadn't even spoken to about it. He owns an office supply company. It just so happened that his Sprint contract was up and so was his brothers. Because he was working on my flyers it caught his attention. Now he is signing up...his brother is signing up...another of his employees are signing up and a friend. I didn't even approach them about it but the timing was perfect.

He is paying $150 on his spring phone. Who doesn't want to save $100 a month. You see, it's timing. If I approached him 6 months ago...he would not have been able to do it.

Another example...a racquetball friend went to the Solavei site and saw that I had "liked" it on Facebook. This caught his attention number ONE because he currently had T-Mobile phone and number two it was a no-brainer since he had the service and could make some extra money promoting it to a few family members and friends.

I didn't even promote the company to any of these 4 and yet they have signed up or are about to sign up to take advantage of the great savings when they sign up before October 31.

You are doing well...approach it just like you are growing a business and not doing it as a hobby and the rest will follow. Make your focus about helping others first and foremost and the rest will fall into place for you.

    I hope this helps.

Well the problem with me & I'm sure I'm not alone is that I never heard of this company!, also what incentive would I have to switch from T-mobile to Solavei?, how do I know if the service is any good?, what cell towers do they use?, also why would I break my contract?, these are questions that just came too mind after reading your post!, also remember that network marketing takes time & patience!, for every 10 NO's!, u will get a yes meaning 9-10 if u have ur pitch nailed down & short & concise, no fluff, and dont be too pushy!, nobody likes that!, having said that, keep up the good work!

      Hi!

If you currently have T-Mobile and you are happy then you know first hand that the service is good It's the same service

If a person has a T-Mobile phone and are month to month and no contract then IMO this is a no brainer for that person. And if they signed up by Oct 31 and bring their own phone there is no charge for the SIM card and they get their first month phone service for free.

Now breaking the contract? Well, I personally broke my contract with ATT. I'm saving $100 a month even with the broken contract fee. Of course that may not be the same for everyone.
