need a quality SEO/Web designer to help

So I started cold calling pool builders last week using a mixture of John Durham amazing scripts and Ewenmac's advice for web design and turned a really busy guy on the rode into a hot prospect.

I used an auto dialer mobile app called MobilCTI power dialer and it works like a charm! Not to mention it was fairly cheap, going for like $3 or $4 dollars.

Before getting too nervous and tongue tied I asked him if he had done any marketing before and if he was pleased with the results. He told me he did the ads service using youtube and got some viewers to the ad but nothing converted for him though he still pays them $50 a month.

Now I have a prospect with money to spend who wants a website and perhaps seo. Who can I outsource web design and SEO to? I know there are questions to ask a SEO provider to qualify them but I'm so new and just took action without thinking it all out so I'm in a bind now.

If you guys want some leads yourselves try doing some cold calling in the construction niche to guys without sites and guys who do offer a mobile site.

Here's what I spit out when he picked up:

"Hi this is ________ with _________, we're a web company and I noticed you don't have a website. Would you be the one to talk to about getting setup with one to brand your business with?"

Ps. I got more leads who asked to have a call back today but this guy was the most interested.

You can change the title. I think you have to hit the advance button if I remember right.

Done! Can't believe I missed it after peeling back all those buttons

Construction has many subniches - Pool builders, home builders, Concrete polishing, electric, plumbing, house paneling, air condition & heating contractors, etc.

I'm thinking about charging 1k for a site and accepting payments using paypal. It's probably a good idea to get hooked up with a merchant account too when I find one. These guys might go for a free business facebook page or twitter account as extra incentive. So far I've done basic keyword research on their keywords - from our brief convo I could already tell he loves stats, tracking, and numbers.

I ran a construction business myself and I built my own website and I have gotten much work out of this as well. You will do well. If you need any ideas, you can visit my old construction site at We build Custom Shed Kits, Mini Cabins, and Dog Houses. You can also check local craigslist ads for local webdesigners that you can work with to make websites for these people. If you partner with that person, you can recieve commissions too out of it.

You can always outsource using Odesk also... Be careful who you deal with on that site though, I have found that if you use the hourly billing you can get screwed on the hours...

You should make sure the SEO guy, does both on and off page.
Ask where the backlinks come from? ( Hint not Fiverr or India..)
Ask about keyword research, and competition.
Ask if they do Google + Local or traditional SEO.
Ask for estimated time to reach page 1 ( Too quick may be Bluefart)
Ask about addressing Penguin (over optimization and link diversity) and
    Panda ( Social Signals)

    PM for more help.

There are many merchant accounts online that will get you up and running with your own in about 48 hours.

Here are some of them: No affiliation

    https://www.merchantinc.com/

The people from Quickbooks offer this really strong merchant account and I believe they still give you your own copy of Quickbooks pro for free to boot!

Merchant Accounts: Accept Credit Cards Online with a Merchant Account from Intuit

Authorize.net is compatible with nearly every software out there, including wordpress via pluins etc

Payment Gateway to Accept Online Payments - Authorize.Net

GotMerchant - A no set up fee merchant account

Merchant Account - Free Merchant Accounts - Accept Credit Cards

Now that I think about it, I think all of the merchant accounts listed above do not charge setup fees.

As per Greenovi said, different merchant accounts help with those credit cards. Typically, I used paypal in beginning, since everybody trusts them, and people can give you those upfront payments without them having to read their credit card number to you. Generally though, they have a bad reputation for freezing accounts.

Also, look into wave accounting. It's free, and it helps with taxes and tracking expenses.

Warriors for Hire for outsourcing. $300 is the standard price, I find. $400 would set you back slightly more custom and better work. Eventually, getting your own VA to do web design would be a quicker way to crank out those websites.
