Ranking Youtube Channel?

Has anyone ranked a whole channel on page 1 for a keyword or just individual videos?

    Just individual videos Kcom. However, WF threads rank well for a few months for ultra competitive keywords.

      I don't think I've ever had the channel rank by itself, and I've had 7 or 8 Youtube videos plastered from the same channel on the first page of a Google search. Maybe it's because I don't drive outside links to the channels.

    The Channel would be Ideal to rank if the videos you wanted traffic to see changed every month or so...Anyone else?

      The way I get the channels to rank is with lots of high PR comments from related videos. I write the comments manually, and only comment 4 or 5 times a day for a couple of weeks. A Subscription or two helps too. There are a lot of PR5 videos on Youtube, and commenting on them is like a Dofollow link from another website.

      You do not post a link in your comments. Your Username in the comments is a link. If you have a keyword in your Username, that comment becomes a text link that is relevant. And the link is a dofollow link. I hope that helps.

      Comments are always written manually, by me, for a few reasons;
      It looks far better to the reader. Fake comments are obvious to many.
      You can include keywords in the text of the comment
      You want these comments to link to your channel, not someone else's.
      You can actually get conversations going with real viewers. Added content that looks real.

      I also Favorite and Subscribe to high PR channels and videos that are relevant.
      One thing I've learned NOT to do (because my Usernames have keywords in them) is comment when the comment must be approved. The comment can be reported as spam. So can video responses from obvious merchants. They get reported as spam as well. I've had a few channels deleted because of this in my early efforts.

    I am probably going to get kicked in the butt for this, but i cheat the system a little by using fiverr.com to get more comments an views, but I don't think any of those view and comments are real, but hopefully it indexes the video more. But I am seriously not sure how the channel can be indexed unless it depends on the amount of subscribers.

    /\ I do the same thing and recommend it all the time. You can get 20,000 views/100 subs/100 likes/30 custom comments for just $5.

    I order the gigs to boost my videos after I backlink them, so they rank and get views long term. As long as the content does the job, it works great. But I have no idea how to rank a channel. Never tried that before.

    I ranked video really well.. But haven't had a need to rank channel, it shouldn't be too hard if the keyword doesn't have a lot of competition
