Where do I get this list?

After this ranting question, I realized my main question is not clear.

How do I get lists of all the companies in a given area. Yellow pages is a little inefficient. If I'm looking for someone in phoenix arizona, only like 7 will pop up, there has to be at least 20. How do I get the numbers of those ones that aren't there?

goto the WSO section and search "scrapers"

or search (Your fav service) + the word scraper.

I.e if you like yellowpages.. search yellowpages scraper.

if you like google search ... google scraper.

ect.

You can try Places Scout and scrape potential clients from there, I know there are services out there where you can purchase a list but not sure how reliable those are.

I user a guy on fiverr to scrape the yellowpages for me. He does a great job and is pretty cheap @ $5 per 500 records

5000 #'s - 500$

Thats the only price I can remember. Lol.

Wow list giant is awesome. I haven't gotten a list yet, but they told me 2100 numbers for 300 dollars. Hopefully the quality will be high.

You can get 25,000+ listings per month from infofree.com. Just search online for coupons the cost is around $49.995/month. Lists don't get much cheaper that this.

I have heard lots of good things about places scout.

Hey Ken, OT but, if Im not on skype its because Im sick today . GOD I hate it when the body limits you. sometimes you are going 90 miles an hour and your body stops you like hitting a brick wall. Lol.

I don't really know what you were getting from that, my questions were sincere. I built the software to crawl yellow pages in intention of making life easier for myself and possibly making a few bucks on the side.

Soooo, my thread got a little off topic lol. Not complaining, I'm glad you two Goliath's are actively in this thread, because my other questions you guys could probably steam roll.

The other questions derive from my efficiency in the original post. Any help here would also be great with the actual calls part of the question. Perhaps what kind of phone, do you use headphones (which kinds) or do you use the internet to call?

Also I will be purchasing Places Scout after i close my plumber this week. Seems like a much more advanced traffic travis which I currently use. I don't close nearly as many clients as you guys, but I'm taking it slow until I get the hang of creating an efficient process altogether.
