Looking for a theme like WpBusinessPress

I am looking for a theme like WpBusinessPress that quickly creates simple websites, mobile sites and Facebook pages.

I would buy WpBusinessPress in a heartbeat but it looks like it has not been updated in ages and the features, especially the Facebook pages, are out of date. Here is the sales page: http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...marketers.html As you can see it is still being sold but there hasn't been any activity in a long time.

Can anyone recommend an up to date replacement for WpBusinessPress?

(Yes I know I could get a bunch of products and try to get them to work together to do this, but I am looking for something simple.)

      I saw your reply before it was removed and I appreciate your good advice about ThemeForest.

      I subscribed to this thread so I still have your link if I decide to order from them.

      Your post was probably removed because of the affiliate link. You can't post affiliate links here at all.

    Hi & and thanks for the reference link to my WSO, however there's a few points that you make that I need to clarify:

    1. The WpBusinessPress Theme is up to date. I use this Theme in my own business with my own clients and also on in house projects that are marketing products and services online.

    I suppose that is where I differ from other Theme product owners, in that (as clearly stated in the WSO) I'm not a developer that creates Themes based on other products, and I don't update on every whim to stay ahead of competing products - I'm a business owner of a successful web design company that personally built from scratch a Theme to make my work much easier in terms of setting up these kind of sites for my clients. So in essence the WpBusinessPress Theme is the same Theme I built and use in my business. I update the WpBusinessPress Theme according to how I I'm using it in my business, and as required those updates flow onto my WSO customers that are using the same Theme. I tend to think deeply about updates and prefer not to introduce any unless it has shown proven value in my own business for my own clients.

    I could go on here, but you get the picture - yes, I could introduce updates to accommodate every new gizmo you see pop up here on the WF - but I don't introduce all these things to my clients in my own web design business because I'd be too focussed on the cutting edge instead of leveraging value to my clients and what they are able to keep up with.

    2. The Facebook pages work very well in the Theme - I have custom coded some of my clients themes to be the wider format however this has had no effect on conversion rates - this is why I have not yet included this as an update to the Theme - clients that have the Theme in the current format are very happy with it and it is the content that matters in regards to being a successful Facebook page. Of course the WpBusinessPress Theme helps greatly to package the content, and I'm not saying it won't ever be updated to the wider format, but as indicated with work on my own client's projects - updating the Theme's appearance is not what brings immediate value to my clients - it's the content I get them to put in it that always wins.

    3. The WSO still has activity - it might not be at it's original pace because I am not bumping it at the moment - my priority has been of late to my current customers who are very happy, and also to my business clients with whom I am using the Theme.

    In essence the WpBusinessPress Theme works extremely well in it's current format, - I created it primarily for use in my own business - and as an owner and active user there are benefits to my WSO customers in terms of the level of quality support that comes from someone who actively uses their own product. The question of updates has been clearly addressed in the WSO's FAQ of which you kindly refer to in your link.

    Finally - in terms of alternates to WpBusinessPress I can attest that there were 3 that came up on the WF and each one copied code from WpBusinessPress so that in itself is a credit to my WSO. The copycats were approached and in each case the offending code was removed to the point where the capabilities could not be matched to WpBusinessPress. Also in each case the offending product owner claimed that they did not know their developer had copied and pasted my code. What can I Say? Therein lies the point I am making in that you may find an alternate that comes close to WpBusinessPress, but I can guarantee the owner is not actively using it in their own business on the level I am with my own product, and therefore the strategies behind their updates may not have the same value that comes from someone like myself who bases updates on real world usage with my own clients and in house projects.

      1) It appears that the WpBusinessPress theme has not been updated since its original release in June of 2011. Facebook and Wordpress have changed a lot since then. People who buy products that interface with these systems expect the products to keep pace.

      2) Yes the theme continues to function but it does not take advantage of the new features of Facebook etc. "Look, it still runs!" is not a very compelling selling point to me.

      3) Actually the thread has had more activity than what appears. You police the thread assiduously. You have deleted my posts asking about updates and so I can only assume that other people's posts have been deleted also.

      Many of us who have purchased more than one WSO have been burned and we are rightfully conscientious in our due diligence investigating our purchases. There is nothing wrong with this and any product creator who objects to questions from warriors is marketing in the wrong place. Especially in the case of a product with an extremely restrictive refund policy such as yours.

      Honestly, I hesitate to pull the trigger on this purchase because a product creator who spends more time scolding his customers than updating his software is a red flag to me.

      I hope you choose to share the custom coding you have done to update your own version of WpBusinessPress. So many of your customers and potential customers would be thrilled to get the updated version.

        You've said a few things there that are not factual - and please, there's no need to be abusive here - I have politely answered in detail your previous question so there's no need to sling accusations about me or my conduct of my WSO that are not true.

        Yes the Theme has been updated - the latest version is always in the download link. The Theme works exactly as indicated in the WSO sales page in the most current versions of WordPress and Facebook.

        The Theme takes advantage of current Facebook features - it works seemlessly in the Facebook timeline however it makes use of the thinner format currently available to apps as presented on the WSO OP. Yes, an update may include the wider format. I'm not forcing you to buy my WSO - I can only say it works very well at the moment, and the WSO sales page shows exactly how it looks - basically if you do not like what you see there I have no problem with you not purchasing but there is no reason to be claiming my product does not take advantage of Facebook features when you have not even tried it in the first place

        No, other people's posts regarding updates have not been deleted from my WSO thread as you claim - if you read through there you'll see I've answered 11 pages of posts and some of these deal with questions about updates.

        The WF admin deleted your posts because you asked the same question here in this thread. Also, you were asking for advice about other products on my WSO thread - both of the above of which are not allowed in this forum - sorry

        Yes, definately agree with you here. I'm sorry if you've been burnt by other people's WSO's - but that is not a reason to vent false accusations about me or my WSO of which you have not purchased. My WSO thread lays out exactly what you get - if that is not to your liking then no one is forcing you to buy.

        I don't object to your questions - your posts on my WSO where deleted by the WF admins because you posted the same question here, and you where asking for advice on alternative products on my WSO thread - both of which are not allowed.

        I'm not forcing you to buy my product. If you're not happy with my refund policy you are more than welcome on your decision. Basically if the Theme does not work as indicated in the WSO and I cannot fix the problem through support then you get your money back under the terms of the refund policy. Please do not buy my product if the refund policy is not to your liking - this is clearly stated in the WSO.

        Sorry but that's a false accusation - really... Please refrain because I'm politely answering you here and there is no need to accuse a WSO product owner of scolding customers when this has not occured. I have glowing reviews of how I have supported customers and there are more than 11 pages of posts on my WSO indicating how I've helped warriors in that thread.

        My answer to that is clearly stated in the FAQ in the WSO. If there is value in an update for my WSO customers then yes, it will be considered, but I don't make promises on WSO product updates prior to them being developed - What I do for my web design clients or for my own sites in terms of code customization is entirely up to me and my clients - what comes with the WpBusinessPress WSO is clearly indicated in the WSO thread and is a seperate entity to my web design business, the point being is that I activaly use the Theme that I sell - please read the FAQ for more info.
