First, I really want to thank everyone in the forum. Your contributions make it possible for me to roll out of bed and stumble into my office to start working

I'm having a fair amount of success cold emailing businesses for mobile sites, but I feel like I need to expand.

I'm thinking about craigslist posting my SEO services for brick n mortar businesses. I live in Phoenix and my plan is to post 4-5x a day under computer services in Phx and Chicago.

I plan on getting a designed graphics poster to increase conversions and I want to hire someone else to post the ads for me.

I have 2 questions:

1. Does anyone have any advice based on my plan?

2. Does anyone have any recommendations for craiglist poster designers and posters?

If anyone recommends themselves I'm going to ask for a free sample, 2 referrals, and links to their previous posts. Sorry, I just want to weed out any infomercials.

Your titles will play a big role in it...so do your research and swipe some good ones.

4 or 5 might not be enough...They might get pushed down in the results very quickly.

As far as titles I'm thinking "If you're not first you're last"

How many posts per day would you recommend? 9 maybe?

Your title must have the keywords in it.

I do about 100-150 per day...50 should be ok to start with.

Holy shitaki that's a ton. Do you pay someone to do it or do it yourself? Also, how many inquiries does that bring in?

      Hi
If you think cragslist posting can give you benefits then I must say go ahead if you are already getting positive response and you want to run your business on a large scale then it's the best thing.

    Max,
Do you post in some of the cities that aren't as large as the top 25? I know they don't get near the traffic but atleast they don't get pushed down. Also, what are your outsourcing costs for 100 posts a day? How many incoming leads are you averaging with this? Thanks for all the insight!

Every person that becomes a customer or mine usually has already realized that it is nearly impossible to post an ad into a city other than your own on Craigslist. When you try to post into a city other than your own city, Craigslist will ghost your ad. (Ghosting is just a term that means that Craigslist never really publishes your ad to the public. Craigslist provides you with a link to a fake version of your ad, that only you will ever see. They do this to fool people into thinking their ads are "live", when in fact the ad never appears anywhere that the public will see.)

Most people try to beat the Craigslist system by rotating IP addresses, renting DSL lines, buying PVAs and essentially trying to fool Craigslist into thinking that the ad is being placed by a local person. I want to emphasize that this is NOT how I operate.

I have taken the time to build a group of people that I work with on a daily basis. These people live in many of the major cities throughout North America, and they will be the ones who will be posting your ads for you if you choose to utilize my service.

This means for example that your Boston ads would actually be placed by a Boston resident. Your New York ads would actually be placed by a New York resident. Toronto ads placed by a Toronto resident....anyways I think you get the idea.

I want you to understand the logic behind operating my service in this manner so that you can truly see the value of what it is that I am offering. Ask yourself this one question:

"Do you ever encounter issues with Craigslist ghosting your ads when you are trying to post into your own local section of Craigslist?"

The answer is obviously "no". Craigslist doesn't ghost the ads of people posting into their own local city, and because of this fact, and the fact that all your ads will be placed by actual residents of each particular city, you are going to see your ads stay "live" if you choose to utilize my service.

Anyways, that's a quick blurb about my services. I am more than happy to get into the finer details of the service if you would like further information.

I should also point out 2 unique WSO that I am running at the moment:

    1) My ad for the Craigslist Posting Service is found here:

    http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...g-service.html

2)My other ad which runs here and on other forums recruiting people from various cities who would like to post into their local Craigslist for money. (I wanted to highlight this ad because many people claim to have people who are located in various cities, but you can see that I actually do.

To anyone looking to post ads on CL:

If you're paying any more than $.75 per live ad you are over paying. A competent posting team will be able to deliver live ads in any city for $.75 or less. I have found 3 different ones just from the Warrior forum alone.

Don't get too ad spend happy. I was making a killing with 50 ads a day at one point..then I figured I'd make 2x the killing at 100 ads..not so in my case. I lost about $2,000 due to that move.

    Start slow...scale slow...reinvest.

I appreciate your insights. I have a couple questions though:

      1. Do you still post on craigslist? If not, why?

      2. Can you refer me to some craigslist posters that you've worked with? Thanks again.

Gotta love those tire kickers huh? I got one of those phone calls today - wasn't very much fun. Ended up telling him if he wanted a website that was going to get him results, to call me. He probably won't. I guess qualifying them upfront before they contact you would be worth it.

I actually considered working with you before you posted this. Maxrezn has actually contributed in this forum. I've seen his other posts and I will attest to their value.

You simply comment where it's valuable for you in terms of advertising your services. You've completely lost credibility with me. After that type of comment I wouldn't do business with you even if you were the most lucrative agent for me to work with.

I hope you learn from this lesson for future posts.

Is providing a service the best way to make money on Craigslist? Or can you make money posting affiliate links? I read a lot about people making money on Craigslist, I just can't find much info on how they make it.

Im trying to get back in the Craigslist game. If I use the same graphic but have a different title for each post can that work OR am I looking at a different graphic each and every time along with the different title?

Also If I use the same IP will this be an issue EVEN if I use a different title/graphic each day?

If you use the same IP and post into multiple cities, your ad will get ghosted. You need an IP which matches the city that you want the ad to appear in.

I'm not sure if I would recommend posting way too many ads on Craigslist. If you post in different cities, you better have a good proxy ip program and several different e-mails to create accounts. However, if you do that, you risk getting caught.

Hey Max, thanks for your input on CL.

You posted a couple times saying you closed 10K+ deals on craigslist. Why such a drastic difference from then to now? Is CL getting saturated or is it something else?

Well this pretty much helped me decide on CL lol

I'd rather have my dream crushed than my wallet though

Max, do you still recommend any type of free posting? I'm just trying to expand my reach. I did both calls and emails. I noticed I get more responses per hour if I just email blast businesses than if I take the time to call so that's what I'm focusing on right now.

I'd just like to know of any recommendation for inbound calls. Thanks again man.

This is true. You must change the ip otherwise you will get ghosted.

Today, Craigslist just added several cities to their paid ad category. St Louis, Tampa, Kansas City and several other cities which used to be free are now requiring $25 for a job ad. CL just made a lot of people's jobs harder.
