I wonder just how much it costs extra per piece. Seems to eliminate a lot of the extras of doing direct mail correctly...like having to get a tracked phone number (even though it takes 5 minutes.)

I thought it was pretty sweet.
Once the get a postcard, they then start seeing your display ads.

This does look interesting, and I have used direct mail in the past with great success. Thanks for the link!

Hey, that is very cool! Just a guess, but I'd imagine you'd have to also have a Google account and be paying them for displaying your ads throughout their content delivery network.

Next, web code is added to you website so that anyone who visits your website from your campaign and doesn’t become a customer sees your ad displayed on thousands of other websites through the Google network until they become your customer.
I don't see any mention of using PURLs for each postcard recipient so it's not really clear just how they know your recipients have visited your site. Interesting idea though!

    That's totally badass.

I could make a killing with this lol.

    Depending on cost...

    What's the cost?

You can do re-marketing with Google without postcards. But merging them together is a smart idea, I think. The cost? Don't know...but they are basically banner ads that show up in place of Google PPC ads on websites. (Adwords or Adsense..I get them mixed up). But you can go to Google and look up re-marketing, and you'll get the full skinny.

I think they work the same as PPC content ads.

I really do like the idea a lot as well. I have really limited experience in PPC but from what I understand the remarketing program doesn't even charge you unless someone clicks the display ads? Can someone verify this.

I'd like to try it out for a test.

Correct... if that's what you want to do.
You can pay per click (cpc) or pay per impressions (cpm).

There are about 8 different banner sizes and you want to try to utilize them all.
Diffferent sites have different sizes on them.
