Offline Consulting Business Website?

Hi guys
Okay so I know it is all about taking action and mostly the site that you have for your business is of less importance. However I am at a point where I want to be seen as more credible and have a good online presence to match the offline stuff that I am doing. I was wondering if anyone knew of a good wordpress template that is very simple to set up but I could use for my offline consulting business.

        They didn't make it free.
        They stripped down the $45 version, and created a "lite" version.
        The lite version is free. The $45 theme, is still $45.

    It seems that there are many wordpress themes suitable for offline business lead gen. Is there a basic HTML template for a plumber, chiropractor or alike you could recommend? Don't need an RSS feed in it. Thank you and sorry if it's too basic. WP themes take too long to load, which is painful.

      Actually, any CMS should technically load faster than an html website since it is dynamically generated. HTML websites load with all the code on the page instead of dynamically like a CMS which uses multiple database queries to load the page at once. If a WP website doesn't load fast, same with Drupal or Joomla, that means the images you have are probably too big, or you have a lot of javascript. If that is the case you should sprite your images, reduce their size, etc. and you should gzip or minify your javascript.
