How Can I scale this up and get more clients?

For the past while I have created a few websites and logos for local business's. I outsourced the logos and done the websites myself, the websites are nothing too fancy but they look professional and the 3 business's I done them for were happy with them.

If I could scale this up and get more clients regularly I could make some decent money. Before, I got these clients by just emailing business's that were advertising in local papers but now I am running out of people to email.

I am getting business cards printed out which I will hand out everywhere I can.

What are other good ways to advertise that do not require too much money?
Either offline or on-line
I am on a limited budget until I can get some more clients.

Any advice would be appreciated! Cheers

Hire VAs/managers to manage. If required even a sales team/executive. And have teams ready to outsource the work to. Scale up one step at a time. You will need to keep the customer relations to yourself for a long time.

On your limited budget I would say use the cards and pass them onto local businesses in your area
to all the towns near you. Even if they have a website already, they may know some other business that does not have a website.

The cards will get your name into the hands of business owners. Many business owners are members of groups that meet every week to every month to discuss business strategies.
Every business owner in your area should have your card and should be aware of what you do.
And eventually you should know every business owner by name, in your area.

    Craigslist!

Create a nicely designed flyer and post it in your area on Craigslist. Of course you want to link the ad to your website. I can tell you 100% it works because our company has made thousands of dollars because of it. It's extremely easy too once the flyer is made. Plus, you can scale the hell out of it if you hire a VA to post that ad everywhere. That's a nice little secret for you!

Why is everyone so afraid of cold calling? Yes it sucks, but there is still no better method of gaining new clients. It's all a matter of mindset.

    I've done two things successfully.

1 - Participate in local business networking meetings. There are likely networking groups in your area. If there are, participate and explain what you do. People like to do business with those they know and trust. After getting to know people I generally pick up business from them directly or they refer me business.

2 - I've gone through the Yellow Pages to find businesses that are advertising there but that don't appear to have a website. These businesses are excellent candidates because Yellow Pages ads are expensive and they are also losing effectiveness (when is the last time YOU used a Yellow Pages book?). At least some of the funds from the YP ads can be redirected to online marketing and a website is where I usually start.

    Good luck to you!
