Google + / Places account suspended

I have a client who has a brick & mortar business that got their Google + account suspended. It happened because they had us doing the SEO & we got them on the 1st page & then the owner didn't know that we had it linked to the G+ account & let someone go in & start changing stuff.

Google suspended & we put it up for review. It now says pending. How long will it take before it gets unsuspended? If anyone wants to share their experience with this would be great.

Thanks

They hired us for the SEO & another company for social media. Then, the owner gave the social media co their G+ info & they changed some stuff. I changed it back & put it up for review.

Does anyone know how long it takes for the review to go through or anything that will help?

You could be stuck in review indefinitely.

If you submit a review request here: My listing has incorrect information.

Go through our step-by-step troubleshooters to find Help articles that can assist with your issue. And if we still haven't answered your question, fill out the short form at the end of the questions to they will respond with a typical - "review our guidelines" email.

I suggest you review them and really run a fine-tooth comb through the listing, and be sure to update the client's contact page to have things like:

    - FULL NAP
    - Hours of operation
    - Payment methods
    - Directions to the business

see if you're in violation of the guidelines anywhere else. Some common mistakes are:

    - Geo-terms in the description
    - Geo-terms / keywords in the categories section. Remember Categories are what a business IS not what it DOES. If you're using multiple categories for the same thing ie: Attorney and Lawyer, just choose Attorney, there's no need to duplicate.

After that you can respond to that email you received from Google and say, "we checked everything out, did we miss anything?" and see what they say.

If you just wait and do nothing, you may be missing a big problem and you'll be stuck in review forever.
