If you were to start of with one of these models to make money, which would you choose and why?

    Probably a directory site. I think it's a nice foot in the door to land offline clients. Not sure how easy it is to monetize itself, but as an ice breaker... it would be great.

    One guy on here wrote about how he contacted businesses about featuring a brief interview with them on his site. I think he then spoke about adding them to his directory / site and from there the relationship grew. Seems really smooth to me.

    Membership site? Dunno how I would use that in offline.
