Google Places Reviews Not Posting

Hey Warriors,

I have a few clients where I manage their Google places pages. One particular page has not had a new review posted in 7 months. If A customer places a review on this page it will just simply not show. (I have tested it myself - I can review other business but not this particular one)

I have done all the basic stuff like checking that the reviews are not sitting in a duplicate listing.

Now my question: If anyone has had a similar issue with a Google places page for a client not accepting new reviews - I'm wondering if;
A.) The problem will resolve itself
B.) I need to delete said listing and create a fresh one from starch (re-verify)

Hopefully someone that has had this happen can chime in.

Thanks!

    I don't think creating a new listing will help. You may want to make sure all citations are consistent, though. I've heard that incorrect info on other major sites can ghost reviews.

    Sounds like you've already eliminated the possibility of dupes.

    Be sure to log into the edit screen of your listing and submit it again every 3-4 weeks without making any actual changes. This is just a best practice to make sure Google knows the listing is actively managed.

    If these reviewers are posting with brand new G+ profiles, I'm wondering if that would cause Google to ghost the reviews, too.

    I do know that ghosted reviews is a big issue, and Google knows it.
