Hi fellow warriors!

Anyone of you have some good powerpoint presentation that you use
when you are with a potential customer? Or have you seen something out there?
Many of them ive found are not that selling, and sometimes a bit to technical for customers. They just wanna know how much they make from the investment in SEO

Anyone? cheers!

try a search on slideshare.net, you may find something pretty good on there.

or put together your own one with 3 case study examples from clients who couldnt
get found on page 1, and were losing money, then what position they are now, and the results they generated.

Perhaps a search on google might generate some results...

Search for: - "SEO ROI case study filetype: ppt" (need to delete space before ppt)

    Hope that helps.

Then why focus on explaining anything else to them?

It seems to me you're not seeling SEO as much as you are the benefits of it.

Actually my Powerpoint presentation introduces me as the presenter. (with a video)
It establishes that customers are going online (to compete against regular advertising)
It aggravates three things about online marketing that my clients hate.
It establishes me as someone they should listen to.
It establishes the benefits of being on the first page of a Google search multiple times.
It establishes video as the best use of online marketing. (but websites etc are included)
It educates (just a little) to establish that online marketing is complicated.
It shows examples of a couple videos I've done for clients, and websites..in their own niche.
It shows complete Google page one search results that are real, and puts them on the edge of their seat..
It gives three alternatives to generating online listings. (let's them feel like they have shopped)
It shows the benefits of choosing my service
It explains my service in a video.
    It offers payment options.
It closes with a video, closing the sale.

It keeps the entire presentation on track, and keeps me from wandering on a tangent.
It answers every possible common objection to buying, in the presentation.
It keeps the audience emotionally involved. It cues me when to ask which question.

That's what a Powerpoint presentation can do.

Mine is 50 minutes...including laughter and applause (in small groups, just laughter)
It took me about three month to put together. Mostly editing for time. I've used it about 120 times.

What you never want to do, is toss a Powerpoint presentation together the night before a presentation. This is serious business, talking about serious money.

Great reply Claude, really gives me some things to think about.

I just wanted to point out how true this is, take this presentation seriously. I cringe everytime I read a thread here that contains something like this

"hi I have a meeting with my first client in x days what should my presentation be about?"

you need to practice your material, and be confident when you present it. or don't have one at all and just do friendly conversing with the potential client, which is what i prefer to do personally.

I also want to say, don't overthink the presentation, which was a huge problem for me, so much so that i just stopped doing them because i was never satisfied, constantly wanted to tweak, add more things, etc. now im just into friendly chats with the prospect.

I should explain that my Powerpoint presentation is designed for group selling.
Talking to a single business owner? I do it all with their computer, and asking questions.

A full blown Powerpoint presentation with only one other person in the room isn't needed (in my opinion). Asking the right questions, getting them involved, is what I do in a one on one meeting.

The Powerpoint is in cases where it's not one on one.

But creating a Powerpoint presentation, or at least writing out every step of the sales process, gives you enormous power when selling. It clarifies your thinking.
