Hi,

I am looking into doing some offline work for local businesses. What would be the best way to approach this?. Would it be best to go to them face to face or email?. I have learned a fair bit about seo and web design, and I feel confident enough to go for it now and take on clients. And as for billing what would be best, to ask for payment upfront or when the work is complete?. And what sort of price range would be a good starting mark as I am not overly experienced? Any advice would be much appreciated.

    I would definitely approach the clients face to face because I believe it would be easier persuade them. As far as pricing goes, If they are unaware of the benefits of SEO I would rank a few keywords of there website first just to show them the increase in amount of visitors to their site. Then I will charge accordingly based on fair negotiation.

    Face to face is the best option, if your doing web design show the a sample site, I always ask for a deposit upon engagement and the. The balance on completion of website.
