OFFLINE MARKETING

Well you know there is good money to be made in offline consulting, when Rogers Cable - Canada's biggest cable provider - has set up OutRank, a unit inside the conglomerate that provides web design, seo and ppc campaigns for SMBs.

From what I see they are targeting business that can spend $500 or more per month, and they have tracking, phone call recording and analytics set up for what seems to be a push for ppc campaigns.

Interesting times.

There strength would probably be a recognized brand and accompanying credibility.

But there is always a way to craft a strong value proposition for a target market where they can't match, don't you think?

But yeah, I agree this does indicate the profitability of Offline Marketing in general.

Brand yourself as "small biz" taking care of small biz. Care. Big corp can't possibly compete with you then.

  Oh it was more of an interesting side note, not really asking for ways to compete. Been doing that vs Yellow Pages all this time. Nothing new there, but I do think OutRank (Rogers) will be better at it, as it is their main focus.
