Tracking numbers for clients?

Anyone else using tracking numbers (phone) for clients? For instance, setting up clients local listings and using a phone number to forward to clients main number to be able to track calls/results.

To me it makes complete sense so that we can truly track the results/calls. Just wondering what others are doing and client feedback on use of tracking numbers.

    I use callfire for tracking and my experience is that clients love it.

    It impresses the hell out of them to be able to tell them exactly what marketing source brought in the calls whether it be a website, billboard, flyer, email, etc.

    Use Twilio and grab a free tracking script from Github. Doesn't get much cheaper than that.
