What services to sell to wedding photographers?

Just wondering if anyone has any good ideas on services to sell to wedding photographers...obviously the tried and true services apply(seo, web design, social media, mobile, etc...) but im more interested in other ideas.

The reason I like this niche is because they almost never have a gatekeeper because they work for themselves. 9 times out of 10 you can simply visit their website and get an email address directly to the decision maker....it's usually a one or two person operation. Or you can just call them, again, it is MUCH easier to get them on the phone than a traditional business decision maker.

Also, one job can make them a large amount of money, several thousands of dollars...so investing a few hundred bucks here and there to get more business should be a no brainer.

It's also a very competitive business and they know it.

So...any ideas?

Thanks

You touched on it briefly above..(with web-design) but I would like to put a twist on it.

Have you considered creating a "lead-capture" page for a wedding photographer, linked to an EMD, to run in conjunction with, but entirely separate to their main website?

Once he or she starts getting new customers from it, then they will have more money to invest in other services that you may offer such as email marketing/autoresponder management, reputation management, Google Places optimization, a system for getting referrals etc. etc.

Providing a lead-capture site for clients is very much at the forefront of my mind. This is because yesterday there was a massive launch of an excellent "lead-capture" WordPress theme, and I'm sure every warrior got at least 10 emails promoting it . Apparently, you can build a site in 10 minutes using it! Pretty much true, as I built two sites yesterday in about 20 minutes each, and I was still learning how to use the theme!

I would recommend exactly the same thing what MarkJez said but I would add more twist to it. You can make a lead gen website for them and you can charge them per lead. Secondly, you can make a facebook page not mainly for one company but about wedding photographers as a whole. Then in this niche you can get company's info and promote them on your facebook page for e.g their latest work, what services they provide, pricing plans etc.

Once you start promoting the facebook page you can contact these companies and make a deal with them that you for every lead which comes through your lead gen website or facebook page you will charge a certain amount of money. Once you have given them a good amount of customers you can also provide the services you have mentioned above and it will be a win-win situation.

Also you can offer them mobile app services. It is a hot topic these days and almost every business now wants to make a mobile app.

One idea that you may want to consider is offering a video album service.

You can have the photographer send you all the pictures that they took during their clients wedding and you can create a video album for them. I'm not sure about your area, but here where I live I have yet to see any wedding photographer offering a service like this.

Well SEO services. Then maybe craigslist posting, growing their local facebook audience?

Just here to see the shenanigans.
