  • Satya, check through the threads, there are many methods--cold calling, direct mail, public speaking, Craigslist, mass media, networking, etc. It's really a matter of finding what works for you. What service are you offering offline?

Are you in the same area as your prospects? If yes, network.
If no (and this also works if no):
identify the type of clients you want
figure out where they live (what magazines, newspapers, radio shows, events, etc. they like to read, listen to, attend)
        Create an offer
Place offer in front of them

You could also go to a place like infousa.com, buy a list of them, send them postcards, letters, call them, email them.

You could look at the ones that do adwords, look at their sites (can you improve them and would that help them?, are they paying for ads but are on page 3 or 4 or 44 in the organic section? Can you get them to the top of page 1 and will that make them money? If yes, contact them, make them an offer they can't resist.)

I am having a horrid time with Direct mail at the moment. When i first started promoting SEO/PPC through direct mail i was doing alright. But my method started to lose effect. I have recently got a copy writer to write a mail piece with not great results thus far. Though it is only early days.

Hands down the most important part of the process is presenting a professional image to anyone that you want to work with. I've gotten a lot of jobs from cold calling companies and directing them to my website (which has an address, phone number, and other info that most affiliates and SEOs leave out) to learn more about my business.

Most people don't take the time to do simple things like this that drastically improve their chances of getting hired by the type of clients that you want to work for.

As a Programmer I can develop web applications, software like
Hotel booking, Travel planning, SEO script developing, and the list goes on.

As a SEO professional I can provide Article/Blog writing,
Onsite SEO, Backlinks, generation of backlinks following
      Penguin updates.

As the idea of website displaying is not working I tried to
assure the client with 100% best of service after sales.

Now what more I have to provide?

As already mentioned, direct mail, cold calling, partnering up with non-competing websites, social media, press releases. There are quite, a few ways to get offline clients. Make sure you have good presentation/ semi-solid sales skills. It makes quite a difference.

Put together an SEO presentation that shows business owners what they need to know about SEO in today's landscape. Then call local business associations and ask to speak at their next meeting. Content only. Business owners are so burned out with SEO sales pitches, if you teach them what to watch out for and give them basic things they should do to help rank their sites, you will be perceived as the go to guy in your area. Education based "selling" works.

Thanks for one more way of reaching
offline clients. I have tried with my own
Website showing to many clients. But
      that did not work.

Teaching with the result is a good way of
      expecting client conversion.
      Sure to try.

I am American so the accent isn't an issue, I was born and raised here. I am going to try cold-calling and mailers to different parts of town and see what gives me the best ROI.

Saty, One of the best ways i like to use to get Offline Clients is cold calling.I call local business owners in my area offer to meet them at Starbucks show them how we can help there business and close the deal..This brings in new clients for me weekly..Another good tip do a Google search and find low ranking businesses that are like on the second page call them offer to rank there site higher..
