Does the "unclaimed" facebook places page strategy work?...

It seems to make perfect sense -- ugly, generic, unclaimed facebook places sites (that FB autogenerated) -- calling those biz's and trying to get them to activate + beautify those pages, etc.

Has anyone out there done that -- and do you have any ideas / resources on outsourcing the work after we sell the service?

Would live to hear about experiences, sccesses, etc.!

Thanks!

Yes that works. Quite well. A lot of people here do it. I did it to test.
For us it is not profitable enough to be a primary sale.

But we had to test the theory out. For some people it would be a winner.
Specially for people that don't want to sell high tickets
