At work, I was told to not use a script and 'speak from my heart'. I actually got better bonding with a prospect following this freestyle philosophy, but I also found that I got a lot worse when fatigue came along... I tend to rush things, less likely to listen to objections, etc.

I did around 240 manual dials daily in average interspersed over 8 hours (discounting 2 lunch breaks), speaking for around 3:00 hours to people, but my boss told me to do less and focus more on quality.

I also notice that in my city, a lot of call centers do either short shifts (6 hours-ish with one hour break, 4-5 hours), have very flexible schedule or normal days with relatively low call output.

So what is your break policy and what are tips you use to keep your energy levels high for the day?

I`m also thinking of just bringing another monitor at work, and start watching old comedy films when I call.

Maybe you should start a thread and ask who has sold stocks before.

The reason i suggest that, is i had a friend who did what your doing now.
I don't know how good he was, I never saw him do his job, but i KNOW he made
millions before he died in a car wreck.

He once told me everything i knew about sales was wrong when it came to what he did.

At the time, i thought he was full of *hit, but i am more mature now
and i know i don't know everything. At the time i was a young bull
    and full of myself.

If he was correct, getting advise from some of us might actually hurt you
    instead of help you.
