They have a lot of filters but unfortunately they just drastically reduced their downloads. It used to be unlimited downloads and now it's limited to only 4000 download per month with each one more costing a penny. Plus you have to pay a $9.95 setup fee in addition to $49.95 per month.

Nope, it's a one time setup fee. The monthly charge is $49.95.

Unless they changed my plan, I bought in at 395 annual with something like 10K downloads. I probably should have checked before posting but the last time I went into my account nothing changed.

If something changed I'll post. If not, I won't post.

You're still good to go since you got in before. I got in real early with $24.95/month and unlimited downloads.

Today they changed it to 4k downloads per month and added the $9.95 one time setup fee.

They also basically shut out their affiliates. I don't really know what they're doing.

I think you got it wrong. I have been a member from the start. Here is the info from their website.

This is from the help section.
      What are my download limits?

      Last Updated: Feb 04, 2013 11:13AM CST

You can download up to 10,000 sales leads per 30 minutes. The limits are imposed to help protect our server integrity. If you are attempting to download more than 10,000 leads, our system will allow only the first 10,000. After 30 minutes, you can go back to your saved search and download the rest of your sales leads.

For example, a list of 14,000 sales leads will need to be downloaded in two parts. The first part will be 10,000 sales leads. Then after a waiting period of 30 minutes, the remaining 4,000 sales leads can be downloaded.

      Hope this helps.

Perhaps they haven't completely updated their website with their pricing changes and download limits. The following is from the "Click to View Pricing Details" button on their home page:

        infofree.com Pricing

Monthly Subscription – $49.95 per month, plus a one-time $9.95 set up charge. Download up to 4,000 sales leads per month; additional sales leads cost only 1¢ each. No contract, cancel any time, and money back guarantee available.*

Yearly Subscription – $449.55 per year (Save $150). No set up charge. Download up to 60,000 sales leads per year; additional sales leads cost only 1¢ each. Cancel any time and money back guarantee available.*

The info Bob Ross gave is correct. Besides he was one of their original affiliates who brought them tremendous amounts of business.

I do remember reading that the founder of infofree.com was ousted from another list company, his reputation is not the greatest. These new changes at infofree seem to validate his poor business reputation.

I read their updated, info as well and it had more than 4000...Maybe they are wrong on that update.

Is it worth paying 50 a month for 4000 downloads? If we search for specific things and see the results, does that count as downloads? if we have lots of clients, then 4000 downloads may seem small..no?

Looks like the information on their site is conflicting.

Umm...I always thought the stuff you read on the internet was true.

I was just looking at this last night and found their new TOS page by searching google. I'm not sure if it is linked on the homepage yet or not.

Terms and Conditions – New | Infofree

Basically, there is the old membership called "infofree classic" and the new subscription called "infofree". It looks like the only advantage you get out of the new format is the ability to download a certain amount of emails.

Yeah it's still worth it considering everywhere else you go it will be $250 or more for 4,000 and that's only for a one-time use list.

You still get unlimited views as well, and you get hot lists like new businesses. It's still worth it.

$50 for 4,000 downloads is a great deal considering you can target them however you need. Also that penny a name after the 4,000 is the cheapest anywhere... other companies charge 10-20¢ a lead.

I was going to sign up as I needed a lot of info for my new website.

Then I saw they did the 4k deal.

This is a serious offer as I need to get the data on the cheap.

        Please PM me.

I would avoid this site at all cost. I paid the memberchip for 2 months before I actually needed leads. My states that i was targeting was Texas and California, since I do not live there, I could not "estimate the accuracy" of the list I was recieving. I then did a search for my city, and expected to see results not exceeding 600, why did they give me a list of 66,000? then I searched for leads genearting 1-2 million, expecting to see less than 10, why did their list show 60? I immediately canceled membership, they responded with an "82%" success rate of accuracy...... I think they are on dope and dog food.

Can you look for leads where the business has a website, but not a mobile site?

Honestly, the lists I pulled while a member of infofree were Horrible. Lots of out of date/dead leads, too many. I know of a couple of other people with this same experience.

I suggest you buy MobileRenegade by KenMichaels. It is a fantastic scraper and once you buy it you can scrape for as many leads as you want. This scraper shows you, among other things, what you are looking for, businesses without a mobile website. I am in no way affiliated with the product.

Unless you are looking for specific demographics(i.e. businesses with specific revenues or specific numbers of employees, etc.) scrapers are a much better investment, for me anyway.

I have had a subscription to infofree for awhile and don't use nearly the amount of lists that I could. If you need an occasional list, PM me and I can provide it for you very inexpensively.

A few things people are getting confused.

If you got in before THIS March (roughly) you have unlimited downloads for whatever price your paying.

    They grandfathered those people in.

So what those people see will be different and they will be able to download unlimited leads.

A partner of mine has an account he can download tens of thousands a week.

    People after that cannot.

He owns another call center and said the leads are just as good as infousa or hoovers. He does use a dialer though of course so busy signals, disconnected numbers are all skipped automatically. Dialing manually with one of their lists might be more time consuming than a "higher quality" list.
