Researching a Niche

OFFLINE MARKETING

Anyone have recommendations for getting general market info and data for different niches? You can buy reports from D&B but they're over $100. I've also been looking on bureau of labor, association and publication sites but its been very time consuming and not very fruitful. If anyone knows of any other good sources, I'd appreciate your help.

What kind of data are you looking to collect? I know that Manta.com, the paid version, has a lot of good data.

You can also go to your local library, go to the resource desk, to find resources . Once you know what resources are available, you can also see if they have an online presence for the data.
